Volvo ES90 – Spacious, Smooth and VERY Swedish ! –

Branch to include the very first Volvo in over 10 years of doing YouTube. I'm not exactly sure why it has take me this long as it turns out the new Volvo ES90 was an extremely outstanding automobile with amazing trip quality and a cool Swedish vibe!

Does it have the Volvo “whack your rear seat passengers on the head” button to fix the rear view from the mirror?

The last Volvo that I drove was the 240 with the early Injection engine, it was reasonably fast, had good handling, and proved to be very reliable over the 140k miles we had it. Lets hope this new EV lives up to its heritage.

We’ve just taken ownership of a Volvo and honestly it’s the best decision we made. The build quality the dealership experience the follow up to make sure everything is good etc puts all other brands to shame. They were going all electric but thankfully changed that decision after listening to their Customer base.

Apart from the angle of the back seats base pushing your knees up it’s a nice car…just £15k too much

I’ve had an XC60 T6 hybrid for three years. It’s been brilliant. The family love it, and it’s really quick cross country with 355bhp and instant torque. I’m probably just about to order another.

Cracking video as always, Ped. You should check out the Volvo EX30 Performance – we’ve had ours for 2 years and absolutely love it. Cracking build quality, and quick as heck – 3.2s to 60mph in the footprint of a Golf 🙌

I learned to drive in my Mums Volvo 360GLT. Later I had a 340GL and 430GLE. The olden days 😑

To improve the rear vision couldn’t you just lower the central armrest as that will take the central headrest out of the way?

Good to see a Volvo on the channel, I’ve driven Volvo’s for over 20 years, my current S60 has 116,000 miles on it and still going strong. They have always been well built, comfortable every day transport. Yes they are not sportscars, but thats not their thing. Best seats I’ve ever sat in. I hope the new EV models are built to those same standards.
Oh, and the most reliable cars I’ve had in my 50 years of driving.

Nice video. I have brother from another mother, Polestar 3 Performance and i love it. Pretty much same materials and quality parts e.g. B&W, air suspension etc.
