    Hello Peter! Welcome back to the Midweek 180….just back from having the springs changed on the Puma and driving a loan car…a 128K 58 plate Astra Diesel Estate that had not been washed for a good five years and was like a field inside BUT it drove really well and I actually liked it. I stopped off at Mercedes where staff took one look at me and walked off…a perfect decoy vehicle! It is true that MB build quality is going down fast…it looks nice but is very ordinary when you touch or operate things. Then to Porsche re the new Macan….Im not yet sold on the looks but test drove a current car with air suspension and found it strangely wobbly….so the new EV needs careful scrutiny when it gets here or do I just get that Discovery…..it may be old but it is still the best to sit in and deeply capable. Hmmm….onwards into 2024 and great success….it will come from sure!!!😃😃😃Richard

    I may get the Macan EV. Performance combined CUV usability is a win. Several YouTube channels have done 70 mile an hour highway test and got over 300 miles of range. Mileage may vary, but that’s true with any vehicle.

      I’d be very careful if depreciation is anything like the Taycan you will lose a shed load.

      ​@@oneeleven9832Yes you might be right but let’s face it people who pay the £100k asking price aren’t necessarily worried about depreciation…. it’s how it drives that counts more than anything else.

    What do you think about the Macan having both ICE and BEV platforms – do you tink residuals of EV’s at the mo will play a part in people still buying the ICE version?

    was hoping that the subscriber number would tick over to 200k while i was watching…well done on the continuing hard work and thank you.
    Had a good plan to start the new year riding in the canaries but whilst over there got ill instead (shingles)…back home and still not riding yet so general resolution is to be better and consistent

    I like Gunter but not sad or surprised to see him leave Haas. He’ll pop up again soon and do a good job for someone. No new year’s resolution, but 2023’s been a bad year in many respects for me so 2024 is mine to make great! Not sure how many subscribers you had when I first met you but 200k is absolutely incredible. I know how much work you put into your channel so it’s something to be very proud of. Hope to see you at Goodwood this year.
