Hi Sir Pete and everyone hope all are doing well. It’s a very stormy day today. Where am I and what am I doing: well I’m at work and gonna finish my lunch break watching the midweek 180. Then a few hours and work day is done!

Sharp looking Mini. Definitely hope that one is coming to The States. Cheers! Enjoy the sunshine.

The substantial range improvement will be a game changer for the Mini EV and open it to a much wider audience.

Just after 5 am in the morning here. I’m sure the Husky rolled her eyes when she heard the intro music (no breakfast until after the MW180)! Last working day before Easter weekend and debating about taking a 2012 Mini Roadster for a test drive.

With that range, the new EV Mini could shape up to be something I’m interested in. I love my current Cooper S but the lack of range on the current EV is lacking for me. I don’t want or need hundreds and hundreds of miles, but something closer to 200 would be something I could live with.

New Mini is looking nice but that rear end might be a bit marmite. Light clusters aren’t very “Mini”.

Just passed the cammed up Range Rover Evoque and Discovery sport testing out on the roads near the factory in Halewood Liverpool. Unfortunately driving so couldn’t get photo. Looks interesting 👍

Very wet and what we call in Scotland Dreich here. The boy is coming home from University for Easter. So many errands to run but the weather is to improve so a day detailing the Jag is planned for tomorrow. I am not sure I like the new Mini style but I have never really liked the upgraded style of any car I have owned apart from maybe the Kia Sportage.

watching from holiday in Cabo De Gata in southern spain – sunny but windy and sea still too cold for me…driving a rental t-cross which is quite dull but solid and competent. (no cycling either). spotted a DS 4 on the road which looked striking so will be interesting to see what you think about the 3.

On holiday in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire. Enjoying getting in some flat runs along the epic coastline and exploring some amazing beaches.

The mini at first glance reminded me of a Suzuki Swift Sport

Got home from selling cars to watch petrol ped. I’ve got about 20 Haynes manuals. Quite like the new mini design. The petrol one looks like it will keep its plastic wheel arches

Hello from a very sunny Barbados where were finishing a lovely couple of weeks away… even more exciting is that I’ve managed to find a new Mini Convertible
JCW that we are due to collect next week and I’ve just put down a reservation deposit on a brand new F Pace SVR that’s available from stock as we have a last ‘hurrah’ for ICE…

As a long time BEV owner, 200+ miles is needed then the car becomes very usable 😊

Friday sounds interesting.Used Haynes manuals in the past a few times when you could still work on cars yourself.
