#skodaenyaq #kiaev 6 #bmwi 4.

We know that automobiles like the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT provide plenty of driving delights. But can a practical five-door electrical family automobile provide an amusing drive? With the market expanding all the time, cars and truck makers are starting to add sportier designs to their line-ups. Automobiles like the brand-new Škoda Enyaq vRS, the first battery-powered cars and truck to use the Czech brand's popular sporting badge. Then there's Kia, which has actually pitched the EV6 a sportier, more focussed alternative to the mechanically identical Hyundai IONIQ 5. And if you desire a vehicle with genuine sporting heritage, BMW's i4 ticks all the right boxes.

However which is the very best all-rounder? Sign Up With Nicki and Tom as they swaps their tape measures for driving boots as they drive all three back-to-back for the very first time. Is the Škoda the surprise plan, or does Kia or BMW now use the very best driving experience? Which would you pick? As constantly, we 'd enjoy to read your opinions in the comments below.

Love performance… but cost to buy and run is the number one factor when I’m considering a family car change. None of these are affordable as usual, hopefully manufacturers will start making affordable options that cover more than 300 miles (on a full charge) in the real world. Love the channel, keep up the good work! 🙂

Bmw looks awesome Skoda looks funky but is certainly practical but Kia good looks but has also good practicality of the Skoda. You pays your money and you takes your choice..

I think my wife would love the Skoda Enyaq…. Especially in that colour!! It would annoy the hell out of my Mother…. a major selling point / bonus!! 😂🤣

Seriously though I think you guys should start to give “approximate” delivery times. As in 2021 & 2022 VW waiting lists were the deal breaker.

0:54 I think you’re right. Cars are not just white goods; at least that’s not how I see them. I like a car that is enjoyable to drive a well as being reliable and having space for my family.
Right, off to watch the rest of the video 😅

Dont understand the vRS, I mean surely they should have made it QUICK, alas its not and dare I say its not as rakish as the EV6. The BMW will appeal to the sales reps out there, the EV6 is the one to choose from these three IMHO. But right now whilst i’m not a fan of its looks, you’d have to say the Tesla Model Y is the best EV to go for right now, esp Long Range form. 4.x 0-60, great load space and good tech.

I wouldn’t touch the model Y. I just don’t want my money to go, in any part to complete a**hole such as Elon Musk.
Apart from that, I simply detest the interior of Teslas. They may be making a virtue out of a necessity, but I hate the big screen and no buttons. And apart from the screen; white or black interior? What’s that about? White on something with a tailgate and huge cargo space just doesn’t make sense, and the black just looks awful. I’ve never liked black interiors, and none of the Teslas convince. And the screen costs 3500 to replace, and you can’t drive the vehicle without it. With the sorts of loads I occasionally carry, that’s absolutely a deal breaker. There again, I’ve so far yet to meet a Tesla driver who even got up to BMW/Audi/Merc levels of contemptuous road behaviour, so I don’t think the Tesla fraternity would want somebody who knows how to be polite.

@David Colin I see that you would rather buy from the Diesel Gate partners.

Well Nicki being an ex BMW driver I have to site with Tom as what has been shown is hands down better than BMW could ever imagine, cheaper, more efficient and with faster charging as Tom said more time spent on the roads which drivers like me used to love. Now what I need is to get my eyes operated on and my license back and hopefully a decent day when my Bank Manager is in a good mood, so he can lend me what it costs !!

The VRS is far too expensive and underwhelmingly slow – just like the Cupra Born

If I had to choose among these three… I’d take the EV6. Gotta say, however, that I’d rather have its sibling, the Ioniq 5.

Thanks, for me, the EV6 wins hands down, particularly the 7 year warranty and the speed of charging. But I am biased cos I have one.

If you have no kids and only planning to have max 1: take the BMW I4
If you have one kid and planning to have max 2: take the KIA EV6
If you have or plan to have more more then 2 kids: take the Skoda

Thanks for the fun and informative video. My lease is up in six months and KIA and i4 are at the top of my list but getting one is the problem. So I will probably have to take my 4th choice as my 3rd choice would the Ioniq 5 with same delivery problem.

To be honest I was touch away from getting i4 Performance. As my last 3 cars were BMWs.
Got Niro EV and EV6 AWD GT-Line for the same amount of money and couldn’t be more happy with the choice.

Didn’t the BMW I4 just get 4* from euro NCAP… Not sure that qualifies it as impressive

A great comparison video, guys – thanks.
Given the choice of these 3, to me it’s an absolute no-brainer, easy win for the BMW i4 – if, for nothing else than that it’s NOT yet another flippin’ resource-wasteful electric SUV…!!
    That aside…
Might I suggest a minor ‘tweak’ to your videos, please?
I always find these types of comparisons way more informative when BOTH drivers are in the car together – swapping between driver or passenger car-to-car.
That way, as viewers, we get to hear more comparison conversation, both as how a car feels as a driver AND as a passenger.
    What do you think…?
Maybe try that on the next head-to-head…? 🤞

The EV6’s combination of range, charging abilities and longer warranty – for me – makes it the winner, giving best value!

When did a 2.2 tonne SUV become slow at 6.5 seconds to 60mph?? … if it went any faster people would be in ditches.

When did a BMW i4 become the best electric car out there, when the platform isn’t EV specific, but just an existing car shoehorned with batteries.

When did the cheapest KIA (of all brands) become a viable ‘family’ car with a starting price of £50,000 +

    It’s all a load of bollox…

    – Tesla Model 3 Performance (Mine)
    – Skoda Enyaq VRS (Wifes)

2 x 11 kW home chargers which is plenty fast enough for both.

I easily get 270 miles out of my i4 and have seen as much as 340 with temperature around 8-10 degrees. It’s been a brilliant motorway companion where it’s at its most efficient around 60-70mph and I often see 4.0mi/kWh if I’m not hooning.

It’s a definite win for the EV6. The comparison should have used the higher spec EV6 which would have made it more even, making the EV6 even more awesome for the price. The Enyaq is just a bland machine, but a lot of people like bland, just look at how many people buy Toyotas. The BMW is a lovely machine, but waaaaaay too expensive in my country and most are driven by twats.
