I don’t hate the Luce, it’s just that I think it’s more like a Honda. But my opinion can be taken with a pinch of salt. As I’m never going to own a Ferrari. Basically, even if I had the money, I can think of more worthy uses for £600,000.

Yeah, like 2 fully equipped AMG EVs.

      One coupe and one suv.

Fun fact they also charge more than twice as fast as the ferrari

Imagine paying that money for a car, and saying, I don’t hate it 😂 it’s like saying you don’t hate your other half, but you don’t like her either, and would happily leave her. It’s 100% without doubt the least emotional Ferrari ever. It was designed by the guy who designed the iPhone. Says it all, after a year you are bored of it, chuck it in a drawer, forget about it and buy something new. I hope it’s battery doesn’t die very quickly like my old iPhone did, because it’s a lot of cash!

@MaticTheProtoTaycan Turbo GT costs a lot less, will be as fast, a lot better looking, and that’s not exactly common, so apart from a brand thing, who would buy this?

@ginge350incorrect. To roughly match the amg gt you need to chose the top spec taycan which is more expensive than the amg

When Ferrari unveiled the Luce I was wondering whether it was 1st April but then I saw the fairy lights draped from Ginny’s ceiling and realised we must be in December.

Glad that Vicky “ID Tourer” is on the podcast today.
Just returned from half term in Cornwall with the family. 5 of us, full boot and 750 miles total mileage. Mix of motorway journeys, hilly A roads, Coast roads the length and breadth of the county. Charged fine from public rapid chargers although at times had to hunt some free ones but managed the return trip (240m) with 25% still in the battery.
Net result was an average efficiency of 4.3 kWh which I was impressed with.

I plug mine in for a charge and go back to it when the humans are finished, sometimes that may take it over the 80% but is that a problem ?
There is less ICEing because they are putting the huge array of chargers in the far corners not right next to the building now.

The biggest issue with the Ferrari, surely, is the almost £500k price tag.

I’ve got the Alpine A290 gts and I’ve fitted a lovely cup holder which sticks under the infotainment screen. All for the grand price of £21.94. It’s a Stretch Folding Front Cup Holder Drink Stand 4B0862534D for Audi A6 and it fits beautifully and it looks a fitted item. Costs me £1.25 to charge at night. More importantly, it puts a massive smile on my face, without scalding any of my nuptials 😉

My wife has a Mercedes A Class and it doesn’t have the facility to adjust the beam length on the lights. When driving in the dark, you can use the headlights to improve visibility so you end up blinding other drivers.

Personally I think the e-2cv will sell well if it’s priced at £15k

The longest one way trip I take is driving to the Pacific Ocean…only 125 miles. There is charging on either end and along the way. Work is about 45 miles/week. No range anxiety here 😎✌️💙
