In the UK, approximately 26% of driving tests are now conducted in automatic vehicles. Out of the roughly 1.8 million practical tests administered annually, around 470,000 are automatic tests, while the remaining 74% (1.33 million) are manual

Perhaps if they’re bought in batches of three, the eLO would be of interest to the Police?

Some campsites now offer PAYG electric hook‑ups where you can charge an EV at 10A using a 3‑pin charger. The main issue seems to be cost and the idea of giving away “free fuel”. With PAYG, you simply pay for what you use, which feels fair.

A few sites still refuse EV charging, citing safety or insurance concerns, which feels outdated. We’re off camping in a couple of weeks at a site that allows EV charging at the pitch, all managed through an app with PAYG credit. They charge 36p per kWh. Not cheap, but certainly convenient. I imagine they are happy with the additional revenue stream from EV charging.

Young people and manual gearbox? You’re right. My grand daughter has just started to learn to drive and we advised her (and her parents) to forget the clutch.

Regarding the 600 km range of eActros: Elektrotrucker here on youtube has shown over and over that is real world range indeed.
He‘s going to travel the world with it (in 80 charging stations around the world).

the trio: Citygo, eUp and Mii were great. I’m so in for their come back, only slighty better range will be needed, but the mount of time in the podast for the best news piece is just under 70 seconds. No appreciation for cars of the proper small size

It’s good to see a return here to proper time management of the Kilowatt half hour being closer to 45-50min. This is as it should be. Carry on good folks, carry on. I delight in my dose of the cheer that your team brings.

I like the Oli And the ELO and I hope the new 2CV would be in the same ball park. Mayby 600 to 900kg since the Oli is 1000kg. Perfect for Citroen. Just their type of flaire. Think of it in the old 2CV concept, cheap and light carrying 4 people across a field… I like that <3

Some camp sites have a card you pre pay for electric, or a meter that you pay the amount when you leave. I wonder if some will go that way in the future and just charge for what you use. Feels fair at least

I’m one of the people who only holds an automatic licence. I did so as I’ll only ever drive EVs.
I have a beautiful little ex demo E-up! in kings red metallic. I love that my first car is an EV, and I haven’t the slightest regret whatsoever about skipping manuals.
