Yeah, she did that with the VW the other day too, so it’s definitely a thing she likes to do! Can you imagine: respected car journalist gets detailed spec of car, “yeah but but what colour is it?!๐Ÿ˜…

This kind of car is what the market wants. Great design and very practical. Would certainly buy 1 if they ever get produced and are reliable.

Sounds great, but do you remember the price level the Ora Cat was supposed to be. IF they can make it and IF they can keep to the price level it could be very interesting.

Same strap line being wheeled out for the new VW GTi concept. Doubt this brand will ever reach our shores in RHD form either.

The Ora Cat was dead on arrival following the price rise and the appalling launch vehicle configuration.

@Bruce Robinson My point exactly. We were told it was going to be around ยฃ25k. At that price point we could have forgiven some of the dreadful mistakes, name included, but not at the eventual cost.

I sure hope this makes it to market. Here in the US we miss out on a many or most of the nice smaller EVs. I currently have a 2017 Kia Soul EV and love it… but wouldn’t mind more range and was saddened that the new Soul never came to us… same with the VW ID 2ALL and so many others. a year and a half wait though is a while for a company teetering on bankruptcy; I do hope it makes it!

Take my money now. The space in the back of the car, the range and tail gate and price, trump the Volvo EX30 by a huge margin.
Iโ€™d love to see this come with the HUD as a safety feature.
Absolutely love the look and practicality of this car โค

As a concept right off the vine it’s a very interesting car. I would hope that this version gets a few changes to the interior though as right now it’s taking the pip. Let’s hop that the production version when it ripens bears fruit.

When I first saw it I thought, oh no it’s another small car that won’t have any range, but after seeing you sit in it and stand in front of it, I’m guessing it’s bigger than expected. I just wish Fisker can sort out it’s production and software.

With the front bench, the back seat looks slightly claustrophobic and may cause car sickness not being able to see between the usual gap in the front seats. Hopefully they will offer a center console version too. I need my arm rest ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks, lets hope it makes it to the UK at this price point, it would do very well as a not too many frills 6 seater.

I remember seating with one of my Grandpa’s car where two people can sit in the front, and if this thing becomes true I’ll applaud. I understand safety reasons why not but I hope this thing becomes true.

Dang she is supercute lots of dad jokes and a awesome ride. Checks all the boxes. lol. The Pear is off to a great start but you can’t get to minimal with what it offers on the dash. The dash at this point looks more like empty supermarket shelves during Covid in the US. People will expect what they already recognize in a car’s dashboard and to strip those things will narrow the audience. Otherwise, its off to a great start.

This is the car the world needs. I just hope Fisker survives long enough to get this into production because if it does it will sell gangbusters especially in places like Canada where small cars and CUV’s rule the roost…

Has Buckley hit the Lambrini? Sheโ€™s gone bananas. What a great, fun introduction to the Pear.

I too hope Fisker โ€˜make itโ€™. The waiting list for the Ocean is now massive, and it deserves to sell. Letโ€™s hope the Pear gets to market asap and creates them a big fat positive cash flow.

Fisker is without a doubt the most exciting new EV brand Iโ€™ve seen in years. The Ocean SUV is genuinely impressive and deserves to do well.

I am so frustrated! I have to change my car this year. Iโ€™d have loved to put a Pear on the drive. It has massive a-peal. It would make a superb car for us disabled drivers. I hope it end up on Motability. I look forward to my first drive review.
