    I drive a Grandland and it’s eDCT gearbox has the motor is built into the gearbox, it seems to solve some of the usual DCT odd behaviours

    Downside Stellantis, Piano black HVAC switches. 7 seats version has to be a joke. Nothing wrong with interior materials. Nice to see light headlining.

    I agree with you, I’m thinking this Frontera is aimed as a Dacia Duster alternative, so the plain interior is considered an advantage by those potential buyers. Vauxhall as a brand in the UK has unfortunately become an unappealing option and/or an easy target for keyboard complainers. But for a no nonsense car, the Frontera seems to be a good possibility.

    Hello Peter. I was in a local Vauxhall retailer and saw the huge discounts they offer….£8500 off a Corsa! It is a very good car for the Motability Scheme. They have tried hard and it deserves success but it is not aspirational. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

    Isn’t it great to finally have the choice of electric or petrol at the same price? Even if Ped struggled to say good things about it.
    Most of these will be a 2nd car so if you can have home charging then EV is a total no brainer. If not then the petrol option is still there.
    The huge fly in the ointment of all hybrids is the cost of replacing the hybrid battery when the car ages and the mileage climbs.
    Hybrid batteries are hammered compared to EV’s as they charge and discharge many more times.
    Don’t believe me then check the price of older diesel or petrol cars compared to their diesel hybrid versions.
