Really do love a sleeper, nice to see your take on it. Some PS4S’s would be a great compromise especially with its 4×4 system. Those Yoko’s need a lot of heat in them to work well.

An interesting car however I really liked the points you raised about the tyres. Manufacturers always seem to for some reason put the wrong tyres on their cars I’d much rather they put A/S or A/T tyres on them so at least you can have confidence in the car you are buying. You’re absolutely spot on that the tyres make or break a car.

All the others who have tested this car tested it in summer when ambient temps suit those tyres. Would be better off on Crossclimate 3s tyres for winter temps and greasy roads.

This is exactly my type of car. Love the colour combo. What a great sleeper.

All credit to Ricky for making this possible as well as to Skoda UK for having massive cahones to commission him.

Green and Brown sleeper estate. Love it. Exactly what the current M5 and M3 tourers no longer are.

Im guessing there was a few points in that drive where your underwear nearly ended up the same colour as the seats????

Love it. I really enjoy driving the Superb 280. I remap alone would make an amazing all rounder.

Just how a performance car should be , subtle not screaming look at me , no ridiculous pop and bangs . A superb build 👏 👌

There are few cars today that I would actually want to buy. Very few are lustworthy nowadays. This is one of them!

So much to like about this Superb, but the stones being flicked up would get on my proverbials!!

I follow Ricky at RE Performance. Educational, technical, and actually really fun to watch.

Heaven on four wheels. My preference would be an Alpina B3 but this is a very close second. This plus a Porsche Cayman 4.0 GTS would be one heck of a two car garage.

Just thinking 🤔 Why don’t you visit Ricky, as a collaboration. Take one of your cars, and get Him to put it on diagnostics. A garage tour, and how we do what we do video.

This would be my dream ultimate family car, looks good but blends in & buckets of power when you want or need it. Improvements for me personally, I think I’d prefer a silky smooth twin turbo V6, adjustable air suspension & of course some ‘British’ roads compatible tyres. Great review Pete, love your enthusiasm for stuff like this.
