    Very interesting video PP. I first went there in 1962 with friends and then in both 1966 and 1967 with the BRSCC as a pit fire marshal wearing those aluminised fire suits. When we were off shift we lay down on the grass behind the old pits (you could see them in Steve McQueen film). They were great days, what we would have given for today’s luxury.

    Was there myself for the first time. Quite an experience. As you said the Cadillac sounded incredible. At Arnage the air fizzled and crackled as it downshifted. One interesting fact that you didn’t mention that the fastest lap in the GT3 class was set by a 18 yr old danish lad who was sharing the driving with his 60 yr old father! Brilliant.

    I was there Pedro- Campsite right on the Porsche Curves, Spent the Saturday afternoon / evening in the village. An amazing experience. Loved it. Great helicopter footage. Loved flying in helicopters years ago… And you flew over my campsite.
