   Never really been a mini fan, from the original to the latest iteration. However, I do like the look of the JCW. Still not not sure I would consider one. Nice colour and the green they offer does look stunning.

    Lovely to see Tracy on the channel again!! I’ve also had issues with Waze on my Countryman where the screen goes blank, but I use another setting for the screen and it seems to be ok.. I also find that CarPlay can be intrusive at times, including Waze, but I think I’ve figured that out now.

    I’ve had my cooper SE since January and love it, I have the blazing blue as well it’s really nice in any light. We took it on its first longish trip only 77 miles there and same back but packed 4 large bags in the boot and one in the back seats with my daughter. My wife in the front seat. I’ve come to like the steering wheel which like you thought it was too thick. The 220hp electric motor is well suited in the cooper and it’s like a little rocket. Not had an issue with the infotainment but then I came from a vw id3😮 so some little glitches in the mini are nothing. Nice to see Tracy in the spotlight? Think the last time I saw both of you on the channel it was the trip in the Audi S4

    You never concluded what you’d rather own, a countryman JCW or this cooper JCW?

    (Debating a two car garage with my partner, one petrol maybe as one of the Mini’s and one electric up for debate, both to commute with too, but one sporty and one better for longer journeys/moving stuff)

    I’m an ND2 MX5 owner considering a move after 50k miles to a f56 LCI2 JCW cooper. I think it’s such a fun and quirky car, solid looks, engine and (slightly) more practical. Don’t think mini gets enough praise especially since moving the the b48 which we all know is a great engine. Just started the vid but looking forward to hearing your findings Ped!

    I currently have a 2025 Countryman Cooper S All4 and really like it – for a mini SUV. If I didn’t need that bit of extra space, I would have the 3door hatch, and the JCW spec and maybe in the blazing blue you have Ped. I too have had the Apple Car Play glitches (won’t keep radio selected whilst in Car play. Display goes blank or won’t cone on. Etc..). My main three issues with Mini tech/ infotainment/screen (as all Mini models will use the same and have similar options) though) are: its predictive driving, the pointless ‘experience’ modes (except Go-kart!) and the lack of useful, clear information on the head up display, especially in Go-kart mode – the central round screen is really clear but not in the field of vision. The HUD needs the indicators, clearer and bigger rev counter and selected gear added at least, especially in manual in go-kart mode. Anyway. Nice to see Tracey in the video and lovin’ the content Ped 👍🏻
