I would hope a car with only 10k doesn’t require brake discs and pads

That’s a great discount deal done by R17. I’m a member of PCGB too (R12) and I’m still looking for a reason to keep renewing to be honest…

LR is same in terms of oil and filter every 2 years. I’ve done them annually as I believe in regular oil and filter changes 😊

I think anyone with any mechanical understanding and sympathy would. I change oil and filter on one of my cars every 6-months.

Agree. My 2024 D350 Defender 90 has had 2 oil changes now after 2 years and 15000 miles.

My 992.1 Carrera has an oil and filter change every 5,000 miles. OTT but I’m happy. My oldest friend used to be an oil tech. specialist for a well known oil company. For 50+ years I have always followed his lead, in spite of the advancement in oil technology.
      Never regretted it.

She looks gorgeous Peter. Those carbon bits 👌 I am stunned you let someone drive your car to the Porsche centre? 😮

30 litres of brake fluid, hence £1700! Reminds me of being told the quantity of oil on the invoice was “just a number”. Just a number they charged for, naturally.

When I took my Fisher Fury to Spain, all I had to do was put on sun block and tighten up the radiator hoses. lol

My major service on my 911 was also £1,700, and as a PCGB the final price was the same as yours. You MUST mention PCGB when you book the service. Great value being a member. You can also get a FREE ESSO card and you get 6ppl off each litre of ESSO 99. Pays its way. You don’t need to own a Porsche to be a member. And you can fill any car to get the discount. My wife’s too.

My 911 requires an oil change every year. Here in the USA that costs me around $500 due to the high labor charge at the dealer.

When I researched about specific PPF for on front window I came to this. This window PPF still scratches more easily than glass (wipers + dust = wear). Typically need replacement every 6–24 months depending on use. In some regions, they may not be road-legal due to visibility regulations.

Interesting. They have annual service intervals in US. Brake Fluid and Spark Plugs every two years. Oil annually.

One thing that you never mentioned is the cost would be interesting to know and all the carbon bots you’ve added although you told us the servicing cost just would be nice to know about cost of the ppf, but as per norm great video love ypur content 👍 👌

We’d all be really interested in a 6 month and 12 month windshield PPF update? Cheers.
