    Does the very good viewing figures for the Dacia concept EV reveal that there is a large section of motorists are looking for small moderate cost EVs, and that expensive ICE cars are no longer the big draw?

      No, it means the Dacia concept EV is an interesting car with excellent use case for running around in the city or private property. Nothing more.

    The Hypercar BoP is fairly controversial with the factory teams. Mercedes have said they will not race in the series until this is sorted, so that it’s not favouring a number of teams. It is very random how it’s determined and changes race-to-race.

      BoP is too powerful in WEC, isn’t it? It’s suppose to keep the cars in a tight spread so everyone can win, but it does quite the opposite. Ferrari went from dominating with a relatively lenient BoP to not making the top 10 & being lapped within an hour of a 6 hour race with a punitive BoP one round later!

    I think you’re right about F1 ; Lando needs Oscar to DNF on at least one of the remaining for him to have any chance.

    And also watch out for Max… creeping up the back stairs. Please McLaren hold him off !!

      I see that Porsche’s battery supplier for the EV Cayman went bankrupt, but why shouldn’t an electric Cayman be just as fun as an ICE manual one?! I enjoy ICE manuals myself, but so many EV enthusiasts go on and on about how they would never go back, so EVs must be pretty fun surely…?

      Audi are joining the F1 grid in 2026.

      Both Audi and Porsche are part of VW (VAG) and VW are not funding two F1 teams.

    Racing incident just like the pit incident and the track switch incident. The only thing I kind of dislike about the English is they are blinded by their own unfairness if it suits them. If he just clipped two other cars there were no gap my friend. Thanks for the videos

    I read that VW GOLF and CUPRA FORMENTOR are introducing what I think is the same V5 from the RS3/TTRS/RSQ3 . Is that right? Does the beautiful V5 live on ??!

    It’s the same when you have to cut costs all the luxurious item get cut from your shopping. So porshue are just cutting the none essentials. Imsa and formula e will be cut 2027/8. That’s over GT car development anyday.

    Porsche come and go so would expect them to return in a timely way particularly if the ICE market gets sorted and as you say privateers usually continue. Enjoyed the Dacia video and think it will sell well but not necessarily a sign the EV market has won the day. Looking forward to the off road stuff. Thanks Pete 🎉🎉

    Strictly speaking Porsche are leaving WEC and with it automatic Le Mans entries. However, theoretically the IMSA cars could still go to Le Mans next year as invitational entries. We shall see.

      Giving an invitation to Porsche doesn’t sound like the vindictive ACO that everyone knows and loves (or the opposite)! To the contrary it seems Porsche will not be allowed in LMGT3 at Le Mans either.

    There was talk of Hyundai in WRC wanting a more ev spec car. The FIA has said no, but have you thought about Formula E?
    If Hyundai were to go to Formula E then Ford would want all WRC cars to be the class below because of cost, and it would bring more manufcturers in.
    Looking a WEC, could it be cost the real reason?
