New Steering Wheel for my Mini – How hard can it be to fit ?!

I fitted a brand-new guiding wheel to my Roadster JCW. My mate Sam at sent me a choice of wheels to choose from and while I was at I asked my excellent pal Darren to fit it for me. I imply … how hard can it be?!

Check out for steering wheels and a substantial variety of quality parts to make you stand out from the crowd.

Wow. I didn’t know there is alot to know there was so much in replacing a steering wheel with a airbag. I’m glad you had a professional do the work.🤙🤙

Love the new steering wheel. Looks fantastic.
Have you seen they do different colour seat belts? GP red would look good in your car

Certainly different to the Mini I used to in with the interior pull wire to open the door and the sliding windows. Very posh. That wheel you’ve installed is the nicest part of that interior!

Great wheet choice – the boss is stunning! Hope it wears well. Thomas from Autogefuel swaers by it and did a great video on Alcantara.

I thought you had a carbon venturi air intake system in your Mini but I guess it is the only bit of interior carbon. It looks good on the wheel and I think you made the right choice. The next thing you need is the red rally mud flaps.

Get some nice carbon backed bucket seats. Alcantara centres, leather outer, red and silver stitching (like the JCW badge)

This has just reminded me of long ago. I’m in the north of Scotland, but had to go on a week day training course in England. This was late 80s when car theft was a huge thing in the news, but not where I live. I drove to Manchester, booked into the allocated hotel and took the steering wheel from my car into the hotel bedroom. 19mm socket if I remember correctly.

Imperfitations, that’s a great way of describing it. Pinching that, Pete!
