MINI have gone WILD with these two new EPIC models !

Mini have actually teamed up with race team sponsor DEUS ex Machina to develop two legendary Minis based on the fuel F66 JCW and the electrical JCW. I traveled to Munich to see the cars and discover the story behind them.

@@ells-aviationYep, and don’t they look bloody great.
Without them car accessory shops up and down the country would never have sold countless No’s of Wipac or Raydot lights to every man on the street, but the Mini was 20 years before the mk2

They are cool as…..I’d have either one in a heartbeat. The surf shop one has garage build vibes, which I like, love the naked fiberglass and colour scheme. The bike shop creation is more polished, which I also like, love the lightpod and wide arches, they could be sold as aftermarket modifications.

The wider stance definitely suits both. The petrol one is more polished literally and metaphorically. The electric one super edgy and surfy. I think they missed a trick with the exposed interior roof frame. They should have put the curtain airbags back in and made them yellow to match all the straps. It would look like exposed air conditioning pipes in some minimalist hipster cafe! Great video though and not too much hate for the EV one in the comments… yet!

Oh dear. I would like the surf inspired car but with the petrol engine.
Was there not a time when there was always a limited edition Mini available? As one finished, another was introduced. Such as the Mayfair.

At a stroke Deus X have made Mini cool again after years of Germanic boredom. Someone needs to make some of this stuff as accessories for Minis as they desperately need – the lightpod is perfect as are the both sets of wheel arch extensions. Wow. I’m impressed.

    Hi Pete

So a concert engine could be the Countryman 317 HP with an ALL4 feature to keep it on bay for that F66. I also like that J01.love that fender flaring too. So RAD!

    Nicely done video, Cheers mate
