Mini Aceman – I really wanted to love this car BUT… | FIRST DRIVE | 4K

I truly wanted to enjoy the all brand-new Aceman. On the whole I like the vehicle however there are a couple of things I believe might have been done better and a couple of things I truly don't like!

      Yeh. It’s hanging. Sad. Really. Very. Even if everything stayed same just round headlights and well. It’d probably look like the X Cat Funky Cat was it. Cannot remember. This is one sorry looking Mini. ​@@negativezero-andy5197

    What an awful looking car. If it didn’t have a Mini badge on you would in no way connect it to original (real) Mini or even the early BMW ones…

      It’s plain hanging. Saw about 3. Two my estate an a JCW in a farm shop which I immediately knew wasnt anything. Not a JCW of old. A badging exercise. Very sad be thinking of Mini losing it’s way.

      that’s the one. You never…. Ever… See them now. The funky cat. Saw a couple back summer and alas the funky cat has all but disappeared.

    What an over weight horror with a pizza plate stuck on the dash. Whoever conceived the design must have been having a nightmare. The sounds it makes is like something from Playskool

    Weirdly, I think it’s the most successful looking of the new Mini range. The interior is absolutely shocking though, can’t see how people rate it. I sat in a new electric Mini recently and the material/plastic quality was like something from a Japanese car in the 1980s – not even a patch on my F55 Cooper S. Some very evidential cost cutting on display, which would be fine if they weren’t asking so much more for the range these days.

    After two X3’s we went for the Countryman and really impressed. We like the current styling but get it’s subjective and different for the long term Mini fans and owners.

    Utterly gopping. In contrast, I just bought a 2003 supercharged! Cooper S for £850. What a total hoot. Plus weeny and waily to boot. That leccy carbuncle probably loses more than I’ve just spent in depreciation the second the keys touch your hand. The world has gone mad.

    Pete, it’s horrible, all you can talk about is range charging and design, nothing to enjoy there, poodling around saving the battery, remember how much fun you had in your Clubman 😝

    Vaguely Ssang Yong in appearance. I think Mini have taken their eye off the ball with this.
    The first thing I saw with the wheels was tuning forks!
    I think Mini have just taken the P out of a previous failure!

    As a Mini Clubman driver of over 10 years now I was hoping this would maybe keep me in the Mini brand – sadly this is the end for me Mini wise.

    Usually, even the poorest designed car is ok from certain angles , well done Mini for showing that is not always the case.

    Tonight I tried “preconditioning “ on the app for my Renault Megane Etech. Car was covered in frost. Set it to 19c. 5 minutes later I went to the car. Warm air had been blasted off the windscreen clearing it, rear widow heater had cleared it, front seats were warm. Gotta love new technology 😅
