   Good evening everyone! I still remember my first driving lesson, December 1988 in a D-reg Nissan Micra. I was absolutely bricking it! Can’t believe it was nearly 35 years ago.

   Best of luck for Iron Man.

   My first driving experience was at school back in the mid 1970s at the age of 16. My school in conjunction with Ford arranged an 18 hour driving course spread over 6 weeks. Took place on a closed circuit near the sight of the original Crystal Palace. Culminated in an hour on a skid pan in Mk 1 and Mk 2 Escorts. It was brilliant and really taught us car control.

    Very best wishes in advance of the Ironman Peter! While you are doing that, I will be at the F1 race in Miami! Super excited as I have never seen an F1 race live before. We will be there all three days at the South Beach grandstand, which overlooks the cars coming off the straight in DRS and into the Turn 11 braking zone, so hopefully some passing action there! I wish I had ordered some Peddlers merch. just in case we get a fly-by cam on live TV!

    good luck with the Ironman, Spa last weekend was great, was there Thursday to Sunday, and given the Hyoercar grid it was the busiest I’ve seen there, my favourite circuit to visit in Europe, love the weekend, the race the location and the locals are so nice, we go back to the same b&b each year and love it.

    Tunnel, no doubt! I’m a bit disappointed with the sponsoring so far. You put so much money and effort in this. Hopefully it still rises this week with the IM on schedule. Do concentrate on the race now and don’t forget to enjoy it as much as you can! Cheers! Oh, and next time you’re in Belgium I will look you up and buy you a beer. That’s a promise.

    Firstly I wish you well with your Ironman…..I hope all goes well for you…. During many changes to the Paddock at Spa over the Years, At one time we had to use the Exit at the top of the hill after Au Rouge…. So I have driven a 40` Artic “Flat out” foot planted to the floor through Au Rouge….. 2nd gear at 10mph!!!!! It is almost impossible to explain just how steep it is….. Ahhh Happy days… :-)))
