I hope they still continue the 2.0L 4 cylinder MINI Countryman as I want more power and also more reliable engine that will last a bit longer knowing that it has a fitted Turbocharger as well but, hopefully they could include the Plug-in hybrid 2.0L Countryman as well.

I wouldn’t pay more for synthetic fuels, but it’s an interesting concept in keeping historic ice vehicles on the road for future generations ,I’m watching this whilst at work making plastic door bumpers for supermarkets .

I have never been a fan of the Countryman but that new one has vibes of a miniature Range Rover from the rear in my opinion. Not sure about paying extra for synthetic fuel as I think I am offsetting my Carbon by running our i-Pace. I am sure when the government cottons onto this fuel there will be hefty levy on it which will make it uneconomical for those that might have been tempted to do their bit for the environment. Also retailers of fuel who were slow putting in electric car charging points will have to think twice before putting in tanks for that fuel also. It might be OK for racing teams at a circuit with a tanker on site or car collectors may get a 50 Litre drum delivered but for us mere mortals it is some way off I think.

Hi Sir Pete! Hope u and Mrs G are doing well. I hope all are doing well to. The mini courtymen definitely sparked my interest. Definitely would be more fuel efficient then my 2500 Chevy avalanche lol

I think that as applies with everything else the price of synthetic fuels will gradually lower as it becomes more widespread.I would use it.

Her saving lives at Leeds on BBC2 last wekk went down great and gives us mortals a window in to a world of awake craniotomy????? also known as awake brain surgery, is a type of procedure performed on the brain while the patient is awake and able to talk to the operative team ie. Mrs S. great work as ever the new Podcast with Joe is great #1 in chart lol . S

Hi Ped Love the Podcast, great to see new mini will also be in a petrol version which brings me to your question re synthetic fuel and yes I would be happy to pay more for it especially if it means being able to keep enjoying our combustion engine cars, bikes etc

    Hi Peter. I keep
missing this at 6pm! The synthetic fuel would hopefully come down in price if more are using it. But yes would be happy to pay more to be able to keep petrol cars going as I don’t think anyone’s ready for full electric vehicles for the looming deadlines.

Getting about 100 miles on lpg in the V8 disco so not using much petrol at the moment but if synthetic fuel means I can carry on when world’s gone electric I’m all for it.

I would definitely pay more for synthetic fuel. As was noted in your vlog, as more people use it the price will come down. I would expect, as with most technology, the manufacturing process will likely become more efficient with time further decreasing the price. Until there are more energy dense, faster charging batteries and more charging infrastructure, I believe synthetic fuels are a better option.
