I crashed a company VW Caddy looking for the heat and fan speed controls on the touch screen menu to defrost the windscreen. No physical buttons = No purchase ever.

You should have been done for careless driving! Ever thought of setting your heat and defrost before you set off! 😂

You might as well put 10 bunches of keys in a bowl and pick 1 out as all look the same to me

Great review as usual but NOT a great car far from it as well as the price point, give this a miss. Quick one got the Mrs a new VW Tayron and turned most bings and bongs and eye awareness off however the other day a car creeped out of a junction in front of me so I swerved to avoid it and alarmingly the safety control thought I was veering onto the other side which was my intention to avoid colliding but the system yanked the steering wheel back to to the lane I was in, I caught it just in time, another scenario avoiding a pothole and again steered to avoid and again the steering did its own thing, all these safety systems are bloody annoying and sometimes dangerous..

Gotta love the backwards progression in cars now. Let’s just forget everything we’ve learnt over the decades, and make something unsafe and difficult to live with. Amazing.

Now this…this is on the complete opposite of the spectrum of the frankly brilliant Renault 5. An anonymous appliance with not a shred of personality, soulless Chinese slop! I’m sorry you had to review it 😅

It’s a shame what’s become of the MG name, but I suppose it would just not exist if not in it’s current form.. something is better than nothing right?

Nothing. Tucked up in the garage waiting for the nice weather. Going to be having a few things done to it early in the year ready for her first drive tour 👍

Is my eyes being poor or is the stitching on the steering wheel really bad, as if it’s pulling itself apart?

Hello Peter!😆😆😆😆 This is maybe the most enjoyable Test I have seen you do!! It has made me laugh all the way through as you test drove that deeply dreadful pile of plastic Chinese junk! It looks awful…that front camera looks like a big blackhead that wants squeezing out! The wheels…1976 Datsun Sunny cupcake wheel trims looked better. The driver interface is just ridiculous with those menus that don’t work properly and the Bing bongs…didn’t anybody drive the thing before putting it on sale??? However…put it in a showroom and loads of punters will fall for the toys and smooth plastic…take a one mile test drive and delivery in 24 hours…it will sell. Portbury Docks has a sea of Chinese stuff in huge compounds so deals on that bonkers £55000 will be like confetti falling as they flog these to undemanding PCP customers. Neither of us will even think of buying this car…and compare…£55000 for that or, as I type, a 75 plate G87 BMW M2 in Special order paint, carbon roof and interior with under 1000 miles is £59500. Which would you choose??? Moving on…..😱😱😬😆😆😆…Cecil Kimber is doing 10,000 rpm in his grave! 😃😃😃Richard

The back window of my Renault Megane Etech also has a small back window. The middle rear headrest has been in my hall cupboard since I got the car 14 months ago. Only once have I had 4 passengers, and 1 of them is age 4.
