Lotus Emira Clark Edition Review | That Red Seat is Insane !

In 1965 Jim Clark won the F1 World Champion and the Indianapolis 500. 60 years after that remarkable season, Lotus Cars have paid tribute to among the best racing chauffeurs ever by producing the Lotus Emira Clark Edition. They sent me one for Christmas and I had a blast with this very special vehicle!

The great thing about this whole video is your real excitement and enthusiasm for this car and it’s Clark heritage. I know that as an influencer you have to embrace all makes and types of cars but of course what you cannot escape is your own brand name, ‘Petrol’ Ped and this is what shone brightly. You can see the sheer joy of sharing this beautiful car with us viewers and for that I thank you as I thoroughly loved watching it. My fav video of yours for a while.

Stunning! Great video Pete as always. I’ve only seen one on the road and sometime last year… had to look up what Lotus it was when I got home – having watched the guy floor it – the sound and the looks. It is the prettiest Lotus ever (I did have an Esprit many, many years ago briefly) but the Emira would be the ultimate… just need those numbers to come up now!

@PetrolPed – it was a heap of fun back then especially on slightly damp roads LOL – a little tail happy with a heavy right foot!!! Loved it!

I love that the Lotus and Clark names are intertwined forever in history. Clark was the greatest driver of his time – no question. I hope to own a Clark edition Emira at some point. Thanks for the great review!

You’re privileged to have a beauty like that for a few weeks. Well deserved.

The detailing is stunning IMO. I’ve seen Ducati and Triumph bikes being hand painted at the factory and can appreciate the work that has gone into that.

Really makes me think, an Emira. Been looking at Caymans again, 911’s, but god these are tempting.

It;s pretty much common knowledge amongst motorsport fans of a certain age that Nigel Mansell won the F1 Championship and Indy car championship in the same year, 1993
