    I recently did very same road in my older V8 Vantage; all the way to Tomintoul.. for me a car has to excite, with smell, and sound. I need the visceral engagement. Perhaps I’m an older guy, alas these EVs just don’t do it.. BUT love the vid! Cheers C

    I have the first generation EV6 GT. I absolutely love it! The adaptive suspension is calibrated just as I like. The seats are great. Add to this that electricity where I live is dirt cheap (it costs me 1$ per 100km…), that insurance is cheaper than my previous EV6 GT line and that I got an absolute deal on a remaining 2024 and there is nothing not to love (ok, except for the seats that are only manually ajustable without, of course, position memory).

    I thought the tech in the 5n made an electric cool and same tech in this completely changes engagement with a car. I like the gimmick.

    Gears etc aside, with such a poor range it’s just not a contender. I had an I-Pace for 3 years with a similar range and couldn’t wait to get shot.

    I was in one today at the Kia dealership in Sidcup and it looks amazing, red metallic paint, two-tone interior. The rear seats are not great as they leave your knees pointing upright too much. The driver’s search doesn’t go down low enough and I am 6’2 and my head was touching the headliner. I test drove the Model Y on Wed and that was more comfortable and gave me more head room and the seat goes down very low. The rear seats has been extended and has a lower floor to.

    One of my favourite roads, even better on a bike.

    Great review. We were thinking of this to replace my wife’s company Ioniq 5. Seems to be the almost a great car in a few aspects. I suspect she will go with the 5N but that interior is a big improvement. Definitely worth a test drive.

    I think some folk may be confused by your description of a busy road 😅 Those roads are much busier in winter when the ski resort is open. I know them very well.
