Hyundai IONIQ 6N – People Who HATE This Car Clearly Haven’t Driven It !

I drove the IONIQ 6N on track previously this year and it was extremely remarkable however what is it like as a road vehicle. I spent a week with one, did some decent miles and enjoyed some great roads. Phony sound and fake gears may sound like a trick but for me this is the best driver focussed EV you can purchase. However I do have a bit of a problem with it!

    We loved it and very impressed with the quality of the interior. Totally with you on the looks and yes prefer the 5 and its lancia type styling which is much more pleasing on the eye.
    If all EVs had the same level of interaction I think they’d appeal far more.

    What a car . Agree not the best looking though AT ALL!

    I’m still on the petrol, and the concerns over electric charging point chargers away from home, and the weight of EVs against tyre wear are still there for me (I accept petrol prices keep on rising)

    At least the EV doesn’t suffer from OPF sound deadening!

    I definitely don’t like it to look at as much as I do my 5N however I will still be ordering one of these relatively soon all the same what Unbelievable cars these Hyundai are 🎉 Cannot wait to get one. Love my 5N and cannot fault it 🎉 absolute weapon ❤ great video buddy.

    In a world where almost every new car looks identical to each other and (as far as EV’s are concerned) drive the same isn’t it refreshing to see a manufacturer decide they don’t want to be dull or boring. I chose my regular ionic 6 as I didn’t want an suv or bland euro box and when my lease is up in two years I’ll seriously be considering the 6N. Great car, great video. 👏🏼👏🏼

    I hated this car 2 years ago. Now it looks absolutely stunning. It is so much different from almost everything on the road.

    2 decades ago people hated e63. Look it now, a beautiful classic

    another great video Pete. I’m not a fan of EVs and have classic Porsches and Mercedes, new cars do nothing for me but this was so entertaining to watch, really clever tech, just brilliant. Off to book a test drive just for a laugh! Great work Pete, luv the channel

    Love the way at the end even you realised that the noise is not required. 2.9 not bad given the use of sport mode. Would love you to try a day in eco mode in a ev, you might just be surprised just how good the mode is.

    That car has always amazed me with the way it looks. I am becoming an ev fan and we as a family are considering one as our next form of transport.
    That N 5 sounds like a lot of fun if you want the fun . But can be driven as a normal EV .
    Its the way you talk about which is lovely.

    What a cracking review Pedro, been waiting for you to drive this after the 5 N. Loved the commentary on the drive as well. I bloody love this car. I am like you, the normal 6 I am not a fan. The N styling really changes that, and in person it looks way better. When you see one on the road it really stands out. At the moment this is my number one car I would like to own. I just think it does everything I need. A trip out, a b road blast and a commute. 🤩

    i would have one of these no problem, already an EVangelist, so this looks like it fills in the fun part i kinda miss. i ‘think’ i prefer this over the 5 (which to me looks like a modern Austin Maestro on steriods) great review as always, dont get too upset at the negative commentors, like you say, probably never driven ev’s

    My neighbour, who is a discerning petrol head with a previous history of buying performance cars, aquired one of these a few months ago in gloss black.
    It is a georgous machine with more than a hint of the Batmobile about it, and I have never understood those who criticize its appearance.

    I have the 5N in black, to my eye the best colour for the 5 & 6N as it reduces the number of competing colours by one. I love the 5N I think it looks better than the 6N although I wish it had the 6N wheels. If I’m honest it is a bit nuts and some say silly, but then again most fun things are.

    Just bought a 5N in this color with 630km on the counter, matrix leds, ventilated seats and panoramic roof, 2026 for 40k euros.

    I’ve had my 6N for a month, 2000 miles in and I love it. Comfortable on long drives, quiet on the motorway, a thrill on B roads. I’ve never owned a car that has excited me as much on a drive and then with a simple press of a button can transform to a calm and tranquil drive whilst you check if your licence is still clean. It’s definitely not everyones cup of tea, styling wise and the spoiler. Parking is a pain due to the car’s size and poor turning circle, but at least there’s remote smart park assist to get the car in and out of spaces, which I have used and was massively grateful for.
    Test drove one at Everything Electric Cheltenham and was hooked. Great job Hyundai!
