The sooner that car is put in the back catalogue of Ferrari mistakes the better. People creaming over the interior, which is probably nice to use, but to my eye isn’t as nice as the modern petrol Ferrari interiors. But a Ferrari is about an engine and the exterior. Even if it is amazing to drive, I would still rather have a Taycan and splash the rest on a lightly used 458 and a Roma.

But if you can afford one, would you be worried about the cost of insurance?…

If carrying cost are a problem/concern of owning a particular model then you own the wrong vehicle. Vehicles are a consumable item for most. The few with obsessions of high end vehicles should not be concerned with costs, yes it is that simple

A point to remember about Insurance is that the cost of a car repair, even a Ferrari, is peanuts compared to the cost of repairing a human, never be tempted to cut corners.

I was looking for Matt Armstrong comments about shims etc to compensate for misaligned parts. Between him working on Ferraris and now Bugatti the whole aura and mystique of these luxury brands has faded.
    Thus companies make threats.

Hi Peter. Isn’t it interesting that if (when?) your shiny, new vehicle gets a ding – or worse – for the first time that no matter how beautifully repaired, immaculate even, the vehicle is, it loses some of the pride and joy you had. No car is ever the same to you. People are strange, aren’t we?
