FINALLY Collecting my Dream Porsche – Shall we try this one again ?!

I didn't have much luck with my first Porsche 911 purchase. Well its time to collect my new dream Porsche and return it to my dream garage. The huge question is what have I purchased?

A big thanks to Porsche Centre Stockport for the great collection experience and to Apollo Capital for making this purchase possible and for spomsoring this video.

Congrats! I am the lucky owner of a 718 Spyder myself. The last two years we have driven over 25.000 miles. It’s such a delight to own and drive. It is very capable roadtrip car with enough lugage space and comfort on one hand and on the other hand it feels so special, even at slow speed. And another new experience is the amount of compliments we receive about the car and this is not our first Porsche. So enjoy live, enjoy the car and keep sharing it with us.

Fantastic car! I bought my first Spyder 2 months ago, it’s the best fun car I’ve owned and that’s following 2x McLaren 600lt’s!!! No regrets 😎🏁🏁🏁

Great choice. I’ve driven lots of the latest 911s and the spyder. The spyder is definitely a better experience for the enthusiasts

Yes, I went to a track day with the Porsche club here in Melbourne recently. More than half the field was mid-engined.

I’ve seen two of these locally in the last week. What beautiful cars. Always been a 911 fan ever since my late teens and I can say that was a very very long time ago. But these cars have changed my perception about the Boxter. Especially in this guise. Love it

Massive congratulations! The 718 platform is just so nice. It’s a proper end of an era car. Old school interior without annoying tech and screens.

I’m about to get my first ever Porsche myself in about a months time. A brand new Spyder RS in racing yellow. So your comment about it possibly being the best car Porsche make is a pleasure to hear 😊

So many awesome comments @PetrolPed! So chuffed you stuck with the mid-engined layout and went for a Spyder. What a lovely car, and what a lovely noise; you’re gonna love that beast…

As a Spyder owner myself first thought that’s my spec exactly, that frozen finish ppf is mega, makes me think I should have gone that route s well instead of normal ppf. Definitely recommend a valve control unit, makes a big difference for the emotion, enjoy the ride in the best „convertible“ porsche makes!
