    Firstly, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. My parents have owned 4 dogs over the past 17 years, and we’re now down to just 1. It’s a horrible experience, but you’ll hold on to those memories forever!

    Now, the car… What a thing! I was originally in the camp of “just keep your Boxster!”, but seeing it has immediately changed my mind… 😍. Congratulations 👏

    Really sorry to hear about the loss of one of your dogs – as a dog owner, I agree, nothing prepares you for that inevitable sad day. The many happy memories you have as well as videos and photos means that they never really leave us. Hope you enjoy your lovely new car – you’ve worked hard for it and deserve to have a lot of fun & road trips. YOLO!     As a dog (Schnauzer) owner and lover and someone who’s dream car is also a 911 (and has been since watching Condorman at age 8), I am not ashamed to say I shed a tear or two watching this. I am so sorry for your loss Pete, but (whilst it all pails into insignificance with the sad loss of Darcy) the car is absolutely beautiful and I am so happy that all your hard work has deservedly paid off and that you’re now sat in your dream car. It certainly has made me think that I really do need to pull the trigger too. Enjoy her Pete!

    Pete, so wonderful you have your dream car. I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes. Literally. We to have lost a pet, many times. So very sorry for the three of you.     Losing a friend and collecting your dream car. What a strange feeling that must be. Just like a lot of people commenting we know how it feels to make the tough decision to put your beloved dog to sleep. Cherish the lovely memories and I agree on passing Darcy’s name on to the 911 if ever you feel up to it! Keep up and drive safe!

    It’s bittersweet to have to say goodbye to a much loved member of the family, and then to pick up your dream car. People’s suggestion of naming the 911 Darcy is a good one, a link to memories made and those yet to be made. 👍

    First off, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been through it many times, and it never gets easier !!! My wife wanted to get a new puppy after our last pugs, but I told her I don’t think that I can take another loss. But we did. Beautiful car !!! Wow !!!
