I love Abarth however can an electrical Abarth actually be enjoyable? I invested a week with the most effective Abarth ever, the Abarth 600e Scorpionissima. Spoiler alert … it was brilliant!

Great colour. It is wonderful to see that bright colours are coming back in fashion. I think Porsche really re-started this revolution.
I am so sick of boring Black, Silver, Grey and White cars – so last decade !!

Agree, it’s not for me to own as I’m an old fart, but I do like the variety of colours like this, yellow R5, the Kermit Macans etc.

When I’m washing the car, I unlock it, open and close the driver’s door, and put the key back in the house. Don’t keep it in my pocket.

I’m not an ev owner, but have to wheel out the “don’t knock it until you’ve tried it”.
I’d give it a try out of pure curiosity, even though I don’t believe it would work for me.

in a world where depreciation is of no concern and public charging costs are reasonable, it’s a start but the compromises are a pain – damn the policy makers !

I’ve got an EV and ICE so not a basher but that exterior fake exhaust sound is ridiculous, at least it’s not the default. Great review as always.

Might pick one up in 3 years when it will be worth £15k, until then I’ll stick with my 2 year old GR86 with its 90% retention rate…

For me the best option for the external sound machine is a pair of wire cutters! I wasn’t impressed by the suspension going over the wrinkled road by the museum, I presume the car has simple McPherson struts at front and the simple trailing link cross beam so common in cars today. Giving a car a fancy name and a ‘go louder’ pedal’ is not enough for me.
How did the tyres perform after the ‘sleeper’ test?

I like the colour, I like the wheels and the colour of the calipers and the Scorpion badges all over the car. I like the noise generator and wish it had steering wheel paddles to change gear. The LSD is a bit of kit I wouldn’t have expected on this car. My gripe is if my 90kw i-Pace with an alleged 300 mile range does 120 miles on a sub zero Scottish winters day I think a range of 120-130 is a bit optimistic from that car and I do appreciate battery technology has moved on a bit from 2018.

Are the backrests fixed on the front seats? If not go more upright to get you closer to the steering wheel, support your back and there will be more legroom for the back seats. At the moment it looks like you are driving sitting on a stool.

Yes, I turned off the auto lock/ unlock function, and the auto folding mirrors on my Megane Etech.

Big abarth fan, owned 124 and 595… like the 500e id like one but not new, the depreciation will be horrific! Maybe in a few years!

Hopefully,😀 they upgrade the battery when they do the next gen. Pete, but not a bad first attempt after its smaller sibling, the 500, Abarths should be bright, bold and “look I`m here” and that one certainly is

Is that dash screen for real? It looks so cheap and nasty, like something out of a kids toy, and I bet this isn’t a cheap car!
