    On my Mercedes CLA with 18 inch tyres I often achieve 400 plus miles range. My CLA in summer achieves as much as 5 miles per kwh

    I don’t think this is the leap forward people are saying. 3.2 miles per kWh, EV’s were doing this 5 years ago. It’s not good enough, which is why the new BMW iX5 has to have a 140kwh battery and weights 3 tonne. We need genuine progress in battery tech for EV’s to fully replace ICE.

    Love it or hate it, the new iX3 does its job as an ev REALLY well, the looks will indeed grow on us like the G Series cars, the range is unarguably fantastic, ad interior tech like everything has to change and evolve, it’s something again we will all get used to. I’m extremely keen to get my hands on it, Pete! I feel my opinions on it shall heavily reciprocate yours displayed in this video…

    Surprised you didn’t mention anything about its ride on the 22” or the seat comfort with those M/Sport Pro seats. I found the combination of both rims and those seats shockingly uncomfortable and way less comfortable than either my i5M60 or the son’s i4M50.
