My 20 plate e-nero 64kWh with 23k miles was £17k. The benefit of the old one is it doesn’t bing-bing and wake up the street when reversing at 5am. 🙂

I got the new one and I always enjoy when people run out the house with trash in their hands, trying to catch the garbage truck, but its only me in reverse. 🤣
I am not a fan of the old Niro’s view, I like the SG2 better, which is not my fascination either … but that seems almost impossible since it is just another bloody compact SUV.
I like the technical side of the e-Niro as much as mine, its efficient and has a perfect size, I love the nose connector and frunk. Some British YouTuber got 300.000 miles (~500.00km) on his 2019 e-Niro and he never had any issues, I hope my one would follow this reliability record, with first motor, brakes, even brake-pads and first battery with degradation of less than 10%, that’s how I like it.
Apart from the extremely low charging power, I wish they had done more when it comes to acoustical attenuation, but even the EV3 is not much better in terms of noise. I hope the new EV4 is finally a step ahead.

I gave myself a £20k budget and spent £25k on a ten month old Polestar 2. Some people have no self control. Facelift standard range single motor and giving 300 miles of range in the summer. Great video

I took out the last generation polestar2 fully loaded just weeks before the new generation in a 72 plate in May 23. It was a great car and rapid but it wasn’t the fastest but scary enough fast, they offered me the performance to try and I honestly said the one I just tried was fast enough. . When I drove it had 3k miles on it and the sticker price was £54k. It was the demonstration Car but got offered it for £29k 😮 think it was six months old. That was some depreciation but lovely Car. But for a ten month PS2 for your £25k seems a good shout.

The Mokka E should never be recommeded to anyone looking for a used EV, they are just a crap EV from experience living with one, albeit only 2 weeks before it went back, the GOM is as useful as a chocolate fireguard, charging curve whilst rapid charging is a joke, and its just all round bad experience

Also did anyone fact check or proof read the script, its a Tesla Model 3 Highland, the Juniper is the new Model Y,..

I’ve just loaded my E-Niro, 64KWh, 6.2021, 57k kilometer, Cost 21.500 EUR in March here in Austria, to 90% and i have a range of 308 miles or 496km.
Thats why i decided me to the E-Niro. I had a budget too at 20k.

Got the wife a one year old Mokka-e for £16K with 1500 miles on the clock. No issues with the lane assist. I assume her 2024 model was updated to address the criticism. We’re very happy with the car..

I wanted a spacious family car, as my young kids are close to 6ft. Had a £20,000 budget… Looked at Skoda Enyaq, Audi e-Tron but settled on Mercedes EQC. Okay range, plenty of power and cheap insurance! Very pleased with it.

1:55 Renault Zoe ze50’s available for around 10k for 240 summer miles & about 200 winter miles!! Way better than the mini imo

Still being very generous with a 20g pound budget. Picked up my model 3 for 15g pounds (conversion equivalent to cdn 🙂)
There’s a reason why there’s so many of them on the road. They just do everything proper. The biggest benefit (for those who road trip) the super charger network. That alone makes or breaks a lot of deals.
I’m going on almost 4yrs now with my model 3. Nothing but great things. 👍🏻😎

I went for Citroen eC4. 3 year old with 70000 miles £9k. Range is “only” 180 miles but that’s loads for me, rapid charges in 30 mins, low insurance, soooo comfortable, and EV looks identical to hybrid or petrol, stealth mode. Love it.

Nissan Leaf. Utterly reliable, choice of 150bhp/160 miles or 220bhp/230 miles, both utterly practical, surprisingly quick and utterly dependable unlike some of the crap listed here.

If you’re buying on a PCP it’s not such an issue, but if you want one to keep its no good when they either keep going wrong or cost a fortune to repair.

Range isn’t very important in real life for most owners as long as you can knock off 120 miles without worry.

Reliability and low running costs are king.

The Polestar fabric dashboard and fabric inserts stain very easily (if you have kids). They also feel smaller inside than some other EV’S (I have no idea why).

You guys didn’t mention about the ICCU issues in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia nero also all the cars built on top of the IGMP platform. Dear people, if you are buying post 2022 car from Hyundai or Kia, read about the ICCU issues please. You will thank me later.
