the UK needs this technology, there are an increasing number of drivers on our roads that did not have a driving test in UK and are driving on international licences, imagine how safe all roads will be one day when all cars drive to the same rules without human intevention

You are assuming their tests are less rigorous than ours. Which countries are you talking about and what evidence of the numbers increasing? More importantly, I know people with UK licenses that are crap drivers, not to mention the increasing number of elderly drivers. Why not mention them rather than jumping to foreigners?

So humans are not now to be trusted to drive their cars!
The lawers must be well satisfied with the prospect of all the law cases arising. I bet Tesla will have well covered themselves to hide behind legislation to avoid bankrupting potential payments arising from any system failures and proof of same!

If I have to supervise it then I may as well save a few grand and steer the thing myself.

Never going to happen in the UK, at least not in my lifetime. Stop doing Musk’s job for him, he’s a liar and a con man.

All that testing and it’s still rubbish! Suitable for US roads not for UK.

So excited for this and it will mean the car will always be the best driver. I can drive if I feel awake and really good, but the car can if I am tired have a lack of concentration as thoughts of jobs to be done, takes your full attention away.

Why do Tesla refuse to share crash data with the police?
