I thought Nicola was wearing the cap. Now it makes more sense.

The clear winner for me is the Renault 5 because they will be the first to have cars available after the 2 year depreciation. Nissan took a whole extra year to release the same freaking car for some reason.

Maybe the cars are made in same factory? Renault was first in line for production?

So it’s a Renault 5 for people who don’t like having fun. It’s like Electrifying and that other EV channel.

Not sure how much fun you going to have looking at denim colour and a crystal stick end.

@domramseyoddly no I wanted the Super N but couldn’t wait so went with the Micra as it was £190 over two years SS – my view is if you want fun the why either get the Alpine

We have a Scenic and the ‘flappy paddles’ are great for using regen. I drive 90% using them to brake harder/softer, only use the main brakes from high speed.

Rumours say, that the twins will be three in a few months with the Fiesta joining in. It will be interesting to hear your opinion then, if there is a MicroFiasco or something of the likes.

I prefer the Nissan Micra, especially in top trim spec. The Renault 5 in Iconic trim has them horrible mustard coloured seats, whereas the Micra in Evolve trim has nicer coloured interior. I’ve heard some reviewers say the Micra is ever so slightly quieter on the road, but it could be down to the different brands of tyres on each car.

The Micra’s front looks like Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany’s…

Great fun video…. As a second car / runabout I would have either car. The only worrying thing with the Micra, is the Nissan’s residual values (based on the fact the everyone wants a Renault 5).
On the plus side, there might be some stunning deals on the Micra… When the Nissan showrooms gets stuck with too many BEVs.
