I do not agree on the infotainment. I think it is very intuitive and well designed.

I can also say that after 10k kn build quality feels really good

I have the best Polestar 2, the Long Range Single motor, the rwd version and it’s a fantastic car.

Same. I have that with the driver pack. Only complain is how rigid the suspensions are.

I currently drive the my2024 standard range and allthough the additional levy’s had my questioning getting a new lease. The improved interior might be decider in my getting the car again.

Finally got to be in a polestar when I took an Uber home, it was a very nice car! This is still my favourite looking EV. I kinda want to see a smaller hatchback model from them sometime down the line.

£45,160 for the basic model and £53,160 for the model tested…….does it really cost that much to build that car, and according to your report, it is so compromised in so many areas…huh!!! EV’s are such huge money but the motoring press seem to accept their pricing without question along with the obscene Luxury Car Tax, there appears to be nobody in the motoring press willing to stand up for us every day motorists.

There are much cheaper EVs available

These are quick cars – pricing will include a premium for the performance. These are quicker than an average Ford, VW, Renault etc… Also, 20% VAT adds a fair chunk of cost too.

Cost has got nothing to do with a final product price – essential busines knowledge…

Small thing but to me a hump in the back of an ev is an immediate pass.

Getting long in the tooth. Pricing not great compared to Korean or Chinese alternatives. And you can get some big discounts on VW ID 7 nowadays too. Be in interesting to see what the Polestar 7 looks like,. Not a direct replacement, more of a small SUV but hopefully more contemporary than this vehicle

I like the idea of a Polestar, but apart from range (still adequate at 94% of original) , my 10 year old Tesla model 85D is still a better car (for me). It doesn’t have Apple carplay or Android auto, but it doesn’t need either. It has more space inside, similar performance and, by the sound of it, a better ride. I do have to plug in my phone if I want to charge it, but given the Polestar requires that to use Apple carplay, that’s not a differentiation. I’m in the market for a new car, but I’m struggling to find one that equals my current car. Even the current model S is much worse – RHD, shift stalk gone… Good job I love what I have.

Love the looks of the Polestar 2 but it’s a tight fit inside. We don’t get these in the USA anymore since Biden and Trump levied tariffs on imported Chinese EVs. It’s an old car now and needs a technology and cabin refresh.

I had I think the first gen just before the update to what I’d presume 2’nd gen for the afternoon performance fully loaded sticker £54k. Lovely big car and did motorway and back roads for a few hours even took it back to the driveway at home – it was a bit of a rocket ship coming from ICE and the very first EV I had driven. Took it back and a few months later was offered the exact Car with only 3000 miles for £29k 😮 That’s some depreciation even when it was the last of the outgoing generation. But remember it was effortless to drive. My final thoughts was it was just a bit pricey for what it was as is the 3 and 4 now.

Never thought I would say this.. NO FSD

P2 is still an okay car but it’s really starting to show its age. The interior is properly cramped and the technology in general is not that great. However it does drive really nice and look great. Buying one new in 2025 is something I can’t recommend

The version to buy is the LRSM with more than enough power of almost 300bhp and much better range. The is one of the most compact EV sedans and is a liftback. And for me that’s a big plus.

You pay for a pack and get seatbelts as standard? No… You pay for them when you pay for the pack. All people really want to know though – did they fix the infotainment.
