C’mon BMW show us an electric sports car like an iZ4!

I think i will stick to the IX3 50. Its cheaper, higher up, shorter wheelbase and has the same interior and has claimed higher range.

If I wanted to show that I can afford a luxury car… But the Rolls Royce was too brash, then this would be the one! As a Mercedes fan, I think the S Class has lost its way and the EQS doesn’t even get close. This smashes a Maybach..!!

Underwhelming for such an expensive car. Also, piano black plastic in a vehicle this expensive? Get a grip, BMW

Car designers obviously think “subtle” is out of fashion.
I suspect this is designed to appeal to the US and Chinese markets.
Though tbf, the new BMW i3 is reasonably decent looking and not too “in your face” so they’re not all over the top.

Does anyone buy the 7 series anymore? Not seen one for ages – same as S class

The only place I seem to see this stuff is in London – as limos.

Vast improvement on the previous, however it’s still not a looker! But then again, I’m not the target audience!

I once thought talking cars were only for 80s TV series but this is scary

I guess it’s the chauffeur’s problem with the 5 year old charging speeds of 350kWh. Way off the 15C available on CATL and BYD batteries.

It is good that you are a bit critical, not like your coworkers from the channel.

Big, luxury road statement – BMW 7 Series and i7 definitely have the looks that can be missed on the outside, and the interior is like a modern living room on the wheels 🙂
Just imagine BMW doing a convertible version of the i7 – modern version of the US land barge Cadillac Eldorado 😉
Tom can’t wait to see comparison test against new EQS, Volvo ES90 and maybe Lucid AIR?

Love it or loathe it, but this new i7 does have an imposing look from the front. _In a Rolls Royce kind of way._

Tom, great review, scary tech assistant… I agree with you about the styling of the Grille, those main beam headlights are always going to be filthy within that scoop, as for the overall look… do you know, it reminds me of the old RR Silver Spirit especially with that two tone paint scheme, which I think BMW may have just copied from the New RR Phantom 🙂

Love the inside if it has while steering wheel without vertical bit and without way too big kidney grill, I would wait till it’s as nice as the i3 full EV only but then in i7 model.
