I just picked this car up yesterday! We got the GT model but they gave us the wrong colour.. we ordered the Obsession Blue, and got the grey. We took it anyway because we didn’t wanna make a hassle of it 😔 Still looks really good though!

I wonder if eco mode is counter productive in that it’s not managing to heat the batteries enough. Would have been nice to find out if the preheat option would gain the range back (if it has one).

I understand the majority of your audience is UK based. But… Heat pumps also keep the car cool(er) for us in south europe.

I’ve noticed the sound quality (including this video) has become muffled and not clear. Can this be improved?

Test drove this recently and the elroq day after, and the drive in elroq was much nicer tbf, the Peugeot feels so big yet its not while elroq felt much smaller and easier to drive

No mention of the slow charging times, or all the problems related to suspension, weak bolts snapping etc ?

I have recently taken delivery of a Vauxhall Grandland in Ultimate trim, which I have leased for 2.5 years via work. It is basically the same as this car of yours, even down to the sound of the over speed warning, but more than 13 grand cheaper to buy. 13 GRAND!. No way can a simple style choice between the 2 be worth an extra 13k. The Grandland is a lovely car.

Sorry, 2.1 metres is probably including the wing mirrors. It is under 1.9 metres in normal width, which means it will fit on our roads in the UK. Same at the German MEB cars and just less than Teslas.

The moment you mentioned the WLTP figure my immediate thought was ‘about 250 then’. (My rule of thumb is to take 80% of the claimed figure as a best case).
Given what some of the smaller cars around now are capable of, I do wonder if there is a crossover point where the weight of the battery cancels out the extra power.

I have had my Peugoet e3008 for 10 month now, and I love it. The only thing I’m quite angry about is that Stellantis promised an 8 year warranty Allure Care. In Denmark we don’t get this, even though it was introduced with the car. Wismo Automotive, who imports the car, will only give a 2 year warranty through the Stellantis group.

I’ve been testing this car for about 2k miles. I don’t like SUVs so coming from AstraST/308SW I honestly don’t think this E3008 can compete with them.
What’s weird is that I prefer the B mode on the PHEVs, because B off is more like a real coast, the lowest regen on the E3008 is still too much for me.
What’s driving me nuts though, is the drive assist button array.
The poor layout makes me turn it off altogether by mistake and the pause/resume button must be faulty on ours because it often doesn’t seem to work.
I’m a heavy user of drive assist and this implementation is making things more dangerous for me in stead of less.
It’s a cool car for those who like this sort of thing but it’s not for me.
Just like I prefer the Astra over the 308, I expect I’d prefer living with the Grandland. YMMV.

We’ve had our E 3008 GT since December on mobility. As like you, we found the mileage nowhere near as what they say it is. Apart from that we have found this car to be remarkable so comfortable.
My wife is blind and talking to the car to control her heated seats. Radio and stuff is so easy as there are two microphones one on the driver side one on the passenger side, don’t know if any other car does this. The voice activation works flawlessly.
I find to get the best out of the battery. You have to adapt to each road conditions. For motorway driving, we use the least region breaking. For round the town high region breaking. And a roads we find that we have to adapt between high and low as we’re driving along. The most I’ve got out of driving this way it’s 5.2 miles kW. But when we first got the car, we was only averaging 2.5. – 3.7.
But even at that we are still only paying 3p to 4p mile compared what we was with 13p to 18 p.m. mile in the petrol version of the 3008 we had previously
Like all new cars it’s a learning curve to get the best out of it.
I feel if you have this car, you would not be disappointed.

I’ve only just discovered this channel (despite driving EV’s since 2018). It’s now my fave EV channel because the presenters are just brilliant. This lady especially cracks me up, I love her 🤣

So keep up the great work team! Channel is growing well!

Another great review. The car looks nice and the interior very nice with the different materials etc. Peugeot/Citroen and Renault are designing great cars again. But efficiency in the real world is still poor. I always tell me friends and colleagues who are planning to get an EV , to take off at least 50 miles from that’s manufacturers WLTP figure , which gives a more indicative real world range. But having to take off over 100+ miles is crazily inefficient. Saying that ,big heavy EVs with a bluff front end, on a motorway journey in the freezing cold are going to be totally inefficient, heat pump or not!
