    Wat do think of iCaur V23 EV, Chery sub-brand, with it’s retro looks? Is launching in South Africa in May.

      Interestingly, for some reasons, most of their discussion seems to focus on Audi and Hyundai.

      @hermesliteratus882British still have the mindset of White supremacy by following USA, no matter what or how… Are to condemn China… not going to say anything great.

    I have no sympathy for the legacy brands. Instead of rising to the challenge from China and innovating (which would reduce their profits) they chose to lobby western governments to block/styme imports.

      Yep. Competition breeds innovation and better value for the end buyer. China learned a lesson after walling themselves in and excluding the outside world for hundreds of years. But apparently the rest of the world didn’t learn the same lesson.

      Lol you are damn clueless like most people who hate against “legacy” brands. The most innovative car manufacturers in the world are German and Chinese manufacturers and german EVs are also the best together with Chinese EVs. Almost all European brands and even brands like GM, Toyota etc. have cooperations and co-development with Chinese EV companies nowadays. Nobody is lobbying against Chinese competition lol

      @BBingo-v5iinnovation in Germany? Lol.
      Most expensive BMW i7 is 400V architecture, Mercedes and Porsche on 800V., meanwhile Nio, IM on 900V, Leapmotor on 1000, BYD 1000V etc. charging speeds on German cars are pathetic, 400KW maximum while li auto 600KW, Xpeng 600KW, BYD 1000LW Zeekr on 1,14,KW, battery swap on Nio

      @ciybersal9833 another hater without knowledge? Do some research before posting nonesense like all the other haters, BMW just shown worlds first e-ink paint, Mercedes iX3 is the worlds best mid-size SUV, M3 will be crazy, Mercedes is working on photovoltaic car paint, the Mercedes CLA is one of the most efficient production EV in the world, the EQXX is the most efficient 4-seater electric car ever produced (it’s a street legal model but won’t go into production). EQS has steer-by wire with rear wheel steering, predictive air suspension with swarm intelligence. Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door Coupe will charge with 650kW, the prototype even charged with 1050kW and from 10-80% in 7 minutes.

      Nio has steer by wire since like years before n their cars cost half of Mercedes lol

    Why wouldn’t you get “called out” saying that FSD is “fancy cruise control”

  14. @alangravy27 Avatar
    @alangravy27

    FSD should only be allowed if the manufacturer shares any and all crash data after all incidents to be completely transparent.
    Unbelievably, some manufacturers won’t share data, even after a fatality.

    Hi all, I’m still an EV virgin very much considering jumping in but not sure weather to buy a second hand SUV like the Niro or going for a luxury new Chinese SUV. I’m not bothered by a brand but quite like the idea top level luxury for budget price. Which new Chinese manufacturers would you go with or would you take the well trodden road of a second hand Niro?
