I bought a 2018 Kona Electric on Wednesday, loving it so far.

A first generation Kona electric was my first EV six years ago, and it was a great car. Really efficient and easy to drive. Even though I effectively ran it as a two seater with the rear seats down due to limited boot space.

@evready6672 and the back seats having basically no leg room either (more accurately, no foot room)

Life’s too short to look bland Sam, I’m happy to see any car in a bright colour rather than a sea of silver

Hey guys – To dismiss Supervised Full Self Driving as just ‘fancy cruise control’ is missing the mark by quite some margin. Would encourage you to do some proper research into what FSD Supervised delivers in terms of ride comfort, safety, and how it enables the next step towards unsupervised FSD which is what also enables fully autonomous Robotaxis as just launched in Houston, Dallas, and Austin. You should also let audiences know that whilst it’s been approved by the RDW in the Netherlands, this enables any other EU country to adopt it also, as well as many countries that base their vehicle standards on EU i.e. the UK. Otherwise a great show but please do your research on what is arguably one of the most important technology milestones to have hit the market now and the potential of this for the rest of Europe incl the UK. Or better yet, make your next trip one to Holland so you can go for a test drive.

Well said. They are missing out on the progress of this technology but it’s because it is Tesla and not VW or Mercedes or BMW…🤔

23:40 part of the reason why my Soul is cheaper to insure than a Niro despite being 80% similar is most certainly the use as a taxi. I still remember when the Niro was a novelty, where now you can find multiple models online with over 120,000 miles

Hello Electrifying team! Kona & Leaf EVs owner myself. Just in case you’re interested in bargains over here across the pond, there are some Chevrolet dealerships selling brand new MID-size Equinox EVs with 319 miles of EPA range under $23,000 currently (I think that converts to about 17,000 british pounds if I’m not mistaken). I prefer smaller EVs myself, but a pretty amazing deal over here. Love your videos – keep up the great work!

I have a KONA (2022) and get 4.8 in the winter. This was going from County Durham to Southampton and back mixed roads with air con on. Currently on 5.1.

I’d have to give up drinking to be able to drive the Juke. If I were to go anywhere near it when hungover , just the sight of it would send me searching for aspirin and prevent me from getting in. Maybe that’s a good thing?

Don’t panic everyone, I’ve just been out to the Kona to check the tyres and it’s on nice little 17in wheels. Went for a picnic this afternoon and got 5m/kWh with four people and a lot of sandwiches onboard 😍

I hit a pothole at 40mph along the Scottish Borders on a 60mph section, it took out two run on flat tyres and two alloy wheels. I cannot imagine the damage that would occur at 60.
