I love how wried the fastback looks. Honestly, I love how weird the entire Kia Lineup looks. EV6 will always be my favourite tho.

What are you talking about? The hatchback is 🔥!

The hatchback looks good to me… but I agree about the fastback. Now that was designed by multiple people who didn’t talk to each other. It is truly horrendous.

It could’ve been a hatch back, BUT NNNOOOOO ……

I also don’t get why she’s saying it’s ugly. The hatchback looks fine to me as well. But I do agree that the EV3 does look a bit better.

I don’t know, I kind of like the fast back, makes me think of a spaceship.

Kia heard people complain about BMWs and Mercedes being ugly and was like ‘hold my beer’ when it comes to that back end. God that’s not a good look.

I’m with you, do not like the fastback version. As for the hatch I will stick with my EV3 because the boot is bigger in the rear and you have no boot at the front plus I like the higher seating position the EV3 gives you and yes I think it looks better. But I know looks are very subjective. As for the difference in maximum ranges with over 350 miles for both that wouldn’t be a deciding factor. The good thing is you have a choice ether will be good car to live with .

I very much admire Nicky’s talent for holding a fluent conversation with herself and enjoying it so much! Plus I agree with her about the fastback – truly hideous.

I think the hatchback in the blue (which is a lovely shade of blue) looks fine, is it a design masterpiece a’ la the Renault 5 or Ioniq 5, no, but it’s not an I would never buy it bad. It’s normal car levels of pretty

What is the obsession with range draining big wheels?
The hatch looks great, the fastback is a bit challenging, need to see it in the metal.

The hatchback looks fine, no issue there. Actually better than EV3, to my eyes anyway. But the fastback… not so much 😬 I don’t know what the heck they were thinking there…

    The polite version:
Thank you — I appreciate someone finally saying it as it is. It isn’t merely unattractive; it’s quite unappealing and difficult on the eyes.

The honest version: Thank you, finally someone said it as it is. It is not just ugly — it is horrendous, truly an eyesore.

It’s nice to see the review of the entry-level “Air” version. The hatchback version looks good in blue (looks like mini-EV6) and comes with good specifications (and is built in Europe). No need for the GT’s panoramic roof or piano-finish paint. The fastback version (built in Korea) may not be as good in reality, but it should have had a liftback/fifth door.
It’s a shame the Dutch KIA importer doesn’t offer a heat pump version.

P.s..: Would love to see a comparison test with the new Toyota CHR+.

I love fastbacks, but that one is just ugly. A small request if l may, could you also give the range in km in your videos?

The Golf of electric cars is here, this new KIA EV4 hatchback is simply great daily, not just for EV but as a car of any kind. Looks good, practical, spacesus, inside tech looks good,…..
Really hope we get Golf R equivalent KIA EV4 hothatch (4wd, adjustable suspension, sports seats,…)

Smaller battery Air model seems the sweetspot for most people. Just like the 58/59 kwh model is for the ID3. You don’t need 80kwh in a car this size unless you are doing long distances every week.
P.S. I think the hatch EV4 looks better than the EV3.
