Individual manufacturers within the Stellantis group seem to be looking to play to their own strengths even when sharing many components.

Not sure how you managed it, but the ambient sounds being as loud as Nicola was quite an achievement 😂

Quite distracting having the noise of the case zipper flapping about drowning her out though ..

I honestly hadn’t looked until you wrote it in the window!

Another identity Stellantis box, same gear underneath, maybe with little more personality than a Grandland (i.e. some!).

Strangely hard wipe clean plastics are a good thing in a Jeep SUV but in Nicola’s recent comparison video between the Frontera SUV and the C3 Aircross the Frontera’s hard wipe clean plastics aren’t a good thing.

When I saw the Frontera comment in the other video I thought it would be more suitable for me with kids and dogs that are likely to mark the C3’s softer materials – exactly what Nicola liked about the Jeep! 😆

You’ve got a fair point. I think because it was a comparison to the Citroen which is a tad squish, that’s what I prefer. But you’re absolutely right. I will do better ❤

Like the design & one pedal driving. Disappointing Stellantis battery efficiency & Mway wind noise (we all need to test drive & see if livable with).

If the Compass is optimised for bumpy driving then this could be perfect for UK roads.

I had a 1985 Opel Kadett as ,my first car. Its steering wheel only had a passing relationship with the wheels too!

Disappointing we didn’t get the signature ‘flapity flap flap flap’! 😂

I am not sure this quite cuts it as a working rural vehicle, but maybe I need to wait for the 4WD version. By the time it gets 4WD it is probably going to cost well over £40k. My guess is that it has limited towing capacity say <2,000kgs. If I wanted something just for the dogs, supermarket, and school run without being a working vehicle then there are better choices. The Jeep Recon looks much more interesting but no idea if it is coming to the UK or what the price will be.

Whilst many parts are shared within the Stellantis group they do manage to make their boxes feel different. Citroen are always comfortable, Jeep are boxy, Vauxhall are cheapish, Fiat are quirky.

Ignore WLTP, the EV Database combined real world range of the smaller battery version is 230 miles (195 in winter). I’m with Nicola, the interior isn’t very Jeep at all, where are the grab handles and exposed bolts? They have such a strong brand and they frequently fail to take advantage of it

Nicola, you could slap a ‘Capri’ badge on the front of that and I’m sure no one would notice 🙂
