    Geely is the new BYD. It’s sales are up around 80% YOY in China while BYD are down 15%. Geely is selling more and more in Australia, Middle East Saudi UAE, Qatar, Malaysia (Proton), Russia, now in Brazil, UK. Geely EX2 is rival to Seagull and best selling car in China this year

    Geely starting to sell cars here in Brasil, in fact EX2 was launched two days ago at a price of R$ 119.900 (local currency)

    It may be cheaper than Volvo, but to me it just doesn’t look half as good 😅😅.
    I would rather go for something like Xpeng G6, Škoda Enyaq or NIO ES6.
    I think that Geely Group is having just too many brands under it’s umbrella, they need to stream line their offering.

    This looks from the outside quite a lot like a Smart #1 or #3 from the front and back, and inside there are also similarities – parts of the screen UI, the panoramic roof setup, and the use of space to gives plenty of room for four occupants. Not surprising given Geely makes Smarts for Mercedes. The pricing and performance is well below the Smarts. The suspension sounds as if it is set up just like a Smart. So if you do not care about badges or 4WD then this is really competitive with all their buy the UK market offers. I would buy one except I have just salary sacrificed one of the Smart Brabuses.

    I own this colour combo. I like the front’s “I am an electric car” look. I love the massage seats, the HUD, and the sunroof. It is super comfortable. That includes a soft ride but it is not a boat. It is a quirky car. If considering: it trades baggage space (small) for passenger leg space (big). It has camping mode and is big enough for a king size single mattress with extra space… waking up with sunshade open ❤. (But it wouldn’t do for van life.)

    The car looks nice and inoffensive on the outside, and I love the interior. If it had a 75 kWh battery (which it does not) and could do 400+ km, it would be an amazing bargain. It looks miles better than the EV3 or Elroq… On a side note, another Tesla headache.

    One of the lightest in its class. Due to the battery and motor module tech. Got mine in June and have done some long trips in Oz. Very comfortable and charging is adequate. Selling well here.

    On its home market it is known as Galaxy E5 – where Galaxy is a sub brand of Geely but also a step above it. Or in Malaysia as Proton e.Mas 7 !

    I think it’s looks like a smart#1 from the front, the ford Kuga from the side and a little Porsche Cayenne from the back, for me it’s a bit too bland looking, I like more angular and sporty looking design.

    Interior looks a lot like SMART. To which they are Involved with MB too.
    Outside has a SMART #1 flair too on the rear.

    MGS5 is £23500 brand new now. Trophy long range. Not as luxurious inside, but absolute bargain value for money.
