    I paid 25k with interest free payments. For that with the spec including a large pan roof
    Cheap to run with good warranty
    It was a nice package for a second car

    The detail worth watching in any long-term test is where real-world efficiency lands versus the official figures, since that gap is exactly what daily ownership exposes.

    4:46 might need to address a couple of issues – the colour test card and spelling of the “COMFORT” model.

    The Atto 2’s styling looks dated but not in a bad way – it’s inoffensive and gets the job done. Sensible wheels and tyres too 👏
    0-60 in under 8 seconds would be quick for many people. Yes we all love the idea of sub 5-seconds, handling on rails, etc. but that’s not BYDs target customer. I hope this does well for BYD, it’s going to be interesting to see if the public go for it!

    It would appear we’ve had a bit of a glitch with our range and battery graphics in this video…

    For clarity the Atto 2 Boost gets a 51kWh battery with 214miles (344km) range.

    The Comfort gets a 64.8kWh battery with 267miles (429km) range.

    Apologies for that!

    The Atto 2 comes in 2 variants in Australia. The base model Dynamic (no sunroof) costs AUD$35,336 (£18,375) after all taxes. The Premium costs AUD$37,456 ( £19,477 ) to drive out of the showroom in NSW
