First. Nice car. I won’t be able to afford it though. Great video by Nicola again. 😁

Blooming heck, Nicola. That’s a great looking car, reminds me of the 2015 Audi A7. Was the power deli very more manageable and less insane than the Tesla Model Y performance you reviewed earlier this week? Looks a much nicer car than the Y. Along with more money I’d need to live in Scotland to enjoy it at its best.

Just one missing ingredient to convert the petrol heads….Hyundai simply need to add a little pot of petrol that releases a tiny whiff of fuel vapour into the cabin at the right moment…’Whiff-o-Drive’… copyright ‘me’ πŸ˜‚

Well Smell-O-Vision only lasted a while in the 50s. Get your royalties as a lump sum, is what I’m recommending.

I was going to consider the Ioniq 5 when I upgrade from my Ioniq 38 in a few years, but now you’ve thrown a 6N into my planned mid-life crisis

You really love the β€œN” models, Nicola! They’re not for me, however. Even in my plain ol’ Ioniq 5, if I floor it, I start to pass out and feel like I’m about to lose my lunch. I can tell you this much: any of your reviews give me β€œsmiles for miles.” Your joy is contagious!

The traditional enthusiasts will hate this car and call it fake. But it’s about the same as people back in the day swearing on their horses and refusing to buy cars when they first were invented. I think this is a fantastic engineering feat, and the features they implemented are brilliant. And from my ride in the Ioniq 5 N, it’s genuinely so fun! Brilliant review as always πŸ™‚

What a car! I wish they kept the rear light bar from the previous version of the IONIQ 6.

We are entering the age where we cash have great journalists who can excite you about an ev, and an economy that is almost retracting the support for them with pay per mile etc. I wish we could get over this and get cities to lower pollution by incebtivising ev properly

I live in the country, on lots of national speed limit roads so I’ll be able to mostly use what it has to offer. I have a feeling my normal 6 will go back at the end of the lease, and the 6N will appear on my drive not long after…

Rear end is fugly, don’t want to pay that much for a car that does not look badass…..front looks cool though…. 5N looks more badass overall with the dark color theme

She said it. The thing is only able to be properly unleashed on a track and it’s quite expensive. I’d say the 5N is still going to be more appealing for those track day types.

This creates a dilemma, 5N or 6N….two different cars, one a hot hot hatch and the other a more family oriented car and evil twin.
Oh well, the obvious solution is one of each. Both are stunning and very desirable.

I have the Ioniq 5 and it’s a great car. Quick, comfortable and a real range of 380km. It’s my first experience of an electric and can charge at home so have had little range anxiety bar I’ve forgotten to plug it in a couple of times. The charging network can cause some anxiety but I’m lucky as there is a fast charge Ionity station on my dual carriageway station. I’m not a fan of the Ioniq 6 looks though the 5 took a while to grow on me too.
