MID-WEEK 180 – BMW 5 Series goes all electric – Best F1 race for ages !

How many points do you have on your licence?

What a terrific weekend of racing from Qatar in the F1. Dazzling Sprint and then a really entertaining Grand Prix thanks to 3 mandatory rest stop and 18 laps maximum on the tires.

Returning from Berlin last week I identified the brand-new at the airport. I truly interesting and good looking and I will be driving in a couple of weeks.

    Very interested n your 5 series ICE review. What is NVH and ride quality like compared to rivals and mass market. The touring that arrives next year is a serious contender for next car

    yip, i agree with everything you said there regards F1 etc, also, i watched the V-box/Ka/Endurance race yesterday and would also recommend its worth a watch (edit) also, zero points best part of 20 years, im more concerned with mpg than mph these days, so much so that i switched to electric cars 2 yrs ago, and doubt if i will ever go back to ice

    My licence is clean and has been for the last ten years. In 30 years I have only ever had 3 points total in my life and nobody on the island told me that the van had come off the ferry that morning it seems everybody I told said they were told to watch out for it. I was late home from work and had a flight to catch for my holiday to Gibraltar and wasn’t paying attention. My excuse and I’m sticking to it.

    It is quite hard to speed on our congested and crumbling roads here in central Scotland.
    I’d recommend the endurance race video as I have very little interest on motor racing these days, but your footage was absolutely first-class.

    Zero points on my license 😊 I thought the Qatar race was a dangerous combination of not having to manage the tyres being very hot/humid and high g-force track all adding to severe fatigue on the drivers.🥵

    Coincidence? The advert immediately before you was for the BMWi 5.
    Points on Licence :- None , but I have only been driving for 48 years.

    I’m clean on my licence but we don’t have all the speed cameras like you do in Europe… here it depends on the speed but 3-6 points is generally the range if you are 16 km/h to 49 km/h over the speed limit … 50 km/h or more is stunt driving and your licence is suspended for 7 days and your car is impounded at your own expense …. insurance as always is the biggest concern with points on your licence. 🍻🇨🇦👍🏻

    As your video dropped I was on the A685 flying down Rasett Hill on my way home towards the M6
    I have as many points as a typical UK Eurovision entry……. Nil Points, big thanks to Waze and the there is a speed camera up ahead community !!
    The best part of the Endura Ka vid was when you proper launched it into the scenery 🙂 some cracking overtakes though.
    Gutted with the F1, I was in a hotel so stayed off social media and waited til it was on channel 4 some time after 11.30pm only to watch Lewis bin it on the first corner

    I’ve never had points on my license after 40+ years…but I let it expire a few years ago since there’s nowhere to go on my island that my pedal bike can’t go. The traffic here is too lousy to bear, really. Aloha!

    In Australia, you get 12 points on your licence.

    Hi Pete. Got my licence in 1966!! Only points l have ever had was 3 for speeding about 20 years ago. One of those blo*dy speed traps facing you on the r/h side of the road!! Cheers, John. 😇😇😝
