    The XC60 is a classic piece of Volvo design, my older 2010 XC60 still looks good today, the design is timeless.

    I agree. Plug in is ideal for now until solid state battery becomes available and cost effective. I have a Mercedes E300e and hardly ever have the engine running unless I’m heading onto a motorway.

    Interesting we have the first series of Plug in XC60, and this is just minor change to the first series just the 200K? range, did I mention we love it, and boy does the T8 go

    We have and xc90, our second, and we love it. Once the kids are done with uni (and we have less stuff to carry around), I can see us going for one of these. Easier to park, I like the hybrid range, and it’s a good looking vehicle. Wasn’t expecting a proper 2.0 engine along with the hybrid, and that range of 200km is actually pretty compelling. This combo of proper engine, good electric range, not compromised boot space and great looking car is a winner. And rare. I love bmw but the x3 and its new interior is just awful, so I’d choose this xc60 every day of the week.

    That power train set up is genius! Something I would consider if we had to go hybrid. Volvo just do it so well , every time. 👏🏻

    We bought an XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered last year, the first Volvo we have owned. We looked at Merc, BMW and part-exchanged an Audi for it. The interior on it is now next level compared to some of the latest stuff from the Germans, and the performance from the T8 on air suspension doesn’t disappoint either. So far, I am really impressed to be honest, even if the design is getting a bit long in the tooth,

    We have a V90 T6 phev it’s doing 35-40 miles on pure elec, economy is fairly good on petrol only when you deplete the battery.

    What I love about the hybrid system is if you use the inbuilt google maps it will then calculate your route and use the electric only sparingly for best economy.

    For example 80 mile journey at weekend the car averaged 100mpg

    Last month we drove a top of the range XC60 T5 AWD from Chicago to Santa Monica, and l was very impressed. It ate the miles in style whilst being comfortable, efficient and a good drive. Well done Volvo. But they ain’t cheap.

    Any idea of costs and when they can be pre-ordered? I have the ES90 Ultra Twin Motor and it’s great but I have always loved the XC60 Ultra T8, I sold one recently because I hated the 35-40 mile electric range.
