This is the new !

has actually upgraded its family-friendly little SUV, and Mat's going hands-on to see if it can take on rivals like the Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur.

When it concerns the design, you 'd be forgiven for misinterpreting it for the previous edition, as the design is almost identical! But then again, that's no bad thing. We've got our hands on the edition one above the entry-level, so it comes with a few additions such as black roof bars. This edition and above likewise has the option to come with two-tone paint. All-in-all however, it's a smart-looking small SUV!

Step within and the essential change is a brand-new, larger infotainment screen than in the previous automobile. This is contributed to all versions of the brand-new apart from the entry-level. There's a mix of squishy soft materials and scratchy plastic throughout the cabin, and storage is quite good throughout. The good news is, there are likewise some physical buttons for environment control!

has actually added a second engine to the , meaning there are now 2 to select from! Both are 1.5-litre 3-cylinders coupled with an electrical motor. The entry-level produces 116hp, while the 2nd alternative can produce 130hp.

The Cross starts at around ₤ 25,500 and increases to ₤ 35,500 for the range-topping edition. So is it the best little SUV you can purchase in 2024? You'll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

      Had the newest Corrola Hybrid with every optional extra you can have as a company car for about two years. Lane assist is actively trying to kill you. It would just randomly jerk you of road. What I would do, because it is active every time you start a car is that I would switch on and off cruse control and than would somehow switch off lane assist. Keep in mind that I had that car in Sweden with every road I have driven it had markings on tarmac

    B mode in Toyotas is ONLY for descending mountain passes or steep descents.
    It should never be used during normal driving.
    I own a Hybrid Toyota. You can read it in the user manual.
    It does not regenerate much more energy. Instead it uses engine break to slow you down. That is the only purpose

    1. @exileatsushi7165 Avatar
      @exileatsushi7165

      Yes, I confirm, B mode should not be used for cruising in town, it’s not a regen mode. its sole purpose is usage of engine brake (for downhill slopes when battery is full). Matt should have used the D mode instead and does not use regen braking, which is the mode you are supposed to use 99% of the time.
