Evening all back in the uk after a nice holiday in the south of France, 2400 miles covered in my Skoda Enyaq ev total cost of electricity was £220. Very good cheap charging infrastructure. Car nav worked out all the charging and didn’t have to wait at any charger.

I think mclaren have the best chance to win the constructors, but I don’t think lando will win the drivers championship unless mclaren start team orders.

McLaren might lose constructors championship either.

Vanquish looks completely different to DB12 and Vantage.

About the McLaren situation: I follow a big number of F1 Youtube channel and they are mostly british. Being brazilian it becomes a bit obvious that there is a big bias over enforcing team orders to privilege Norris. Media outlets from other countries (like here in Brazil) not so much.
Me, personally, I’m loving that McLaren is letting them fight. But I’d also love to see Lando win this one. Finally, if I was running the show there, I’d enforce team orders, no doubt.
    Cheers.

Vanquish looks very different! The extended wheel base gives it a much more sophistated side profile and the rear end design is awesome. Oh and the small matter of 835ps!

I think you’re so right to mention McLaren not fully supporting Lando. McLaren had the most brand destructive team order to fix a win for Oscar and now they’re making it worse by refusing to acknowledge that lando is the number 1 driver, he’s nearly 50 points ahead of Oscar and nearly 50 points behind Max. Idiocy would be the only reason to not throw everything behind Lando and be secure in the knowledge Oscar will not be far behind to bag the constructor.

Hehehe, somebody is not happy he didn’t get invited to the reveal party.. just kidding.. the Vanquish is Aston Martin’s perfect design. Aston Martin is that brand, like Porsche where if they change the design too much, people won’t buy it. It’s iconic.
You don’t want them to end up looking funky like BMWs.

Also a genius way to keep deign costs down, and focus on creating automotive masterpieces. Only Aston Martins and Porsches hold their value really well in the used car market.
And the only ones that don’t are their quick money grab SUVs or the odd looking Panamera

they are extremely different design wise. I’m crazy about last generation of Astons, it’s night and day different to the DB11 era, but for the flagship, i was expecting something a bit more like the last DBS Superleggera, so yes, perhaps i am a bit disappointed, but i will get used to the design and love it unconditionally.

Let’s be honest we’d all be over the moon and in heaven if we had an Aston Martin Vanquish in the garage…. That says all you need to know 😊

Re the Vanquished, to my eyes, it’s very distinctive compared to the DB12 and Vantage. And it has a V12. To be fair, I can struggle to distinguish between the previous model range: DB9, DBS and Vanquish from certain angles. Not the case with the current range.

  16. @guylambrechts2303 Avatar
    @guylambrechts2303

Vanquish might be completely different to the others but I get the point, I guess they should have designed different front lights for it with a distinctive look. F1 gets interesting, both for Lando (sorry Max) and the constructors title, Underdogs for the win!

The current range of Aston coupes looks more different from each other than their predecessors did. It’s easier to tell them apart these days.
I see your subscriptions are up to date for the Max fan club. I agree. It would be great to see the sour look on his face when Lando beats him to the title.

Really sounds like the Brit’s are having a good ol’ sook over “our Lando” not getting a leg up from Mclaren!
Lando has said he wants to win on merit which he can do.
For any F1 team the constructors title is the more important.

RB exactly what you said, is what I was saying to a friend. Remember Ferrari had to do the same and the FIA covered it up? It makes zero sense for the car to suddenly be undrivable. I can see it losing pace compared to others because of lack of development but this,,, nope.
McLaren did not sign Piastri as a #2. I’m sure contractually that can’t/won’t do that without some kind of $incentive$
