Hyundai, Kia, Nissan or Honda… Which makes the best cars?

Definitely Honda as any warranty would be honoured, I think it would be more reliable, I’ve driven the Kia Sportage Hybrid & I have to admit it was amazing, but I got put off by the amount of negative feedback if you need to make a claim, they say 7 years, but heard it’s not worth the paper it’s written on, I would like to see a up to date review of the RAV4 if possible please 😊

And better to be fair, Japanese cars are so well built, but people prefer a giant 300 inch screen…

By far, it is the best practical comparison yet with 4 of the best-selling mid sized SUV’s go head to head (excl. Rav4). Once again, another 30+ minute video in 2 days! You have really outdone yourselves here, again. Thank you.

@manilove2pwn I’m never buying one but my guess is size. Most consumers want a larger car.

Funny how in the EU these are called mid size SUV’s where in the States they are CUV’s (Compact Utility Vehicles) also being from Europe myself but living in US for the past 14 years I’m surprised how different the looks on same models are. Apart from the Hyundai maybe but the HR-V looks like a completely different car.

Got a Tucson n line over in Canada and I will say was disappointed when I found out it came with the 2.5l na I felt like since all over it was n logo’s and n line they could have probably given it the 2.5 t engine it looks the part for a sporty SUV but the na engine I’m not so sure about lol

Hilarious in the Nissan when it talks to you. My 23 Altima here in the US does that as well. Also announces weather alerts that are 50 miles away lol

@Raphael Campos The BBC is on borrowed time and is looking to make savings wherever it can; the license fee is being tapered and will, inevitably, be phased out. YouTube has a world-wide reach among young people. The BBC does not.

Went this week and tested all of them except Honda Hrv, i tries the CRV. Tucson is the best in my opinion. Kia was really bad for me as a tall person. The stering wheel is too up front, even with lots of chair adjustment it wasn’t comfortable. Also I was slightly touching the roof of the car. I am 187cm tall.

Everyone does, literally, except for carwow, Matt also bashed the car when reviewing it for no reason when it’s clearly a good car, they have some kinda of agenda against Hyndai which is so obvious and stupid

It’s wild that the Korean vehicles were the most expensive (as tested) when their companies are known for undercutting the price of their competitors.

The HRV doesn’t have a gearbox. The engine either functions purely as a generator for the electric motor or at higher speeds it’s directly connected to the wheels with a fixed gear ratio.

Had my Sportage for a month and really enjoying it – the Hybrid doesnt do bad for MPG, not as good as a diesel, but for the size of car. Does have some niggles (like the one button for the sunshade and the opening roof) , but overall, very competent.

Had my Hyundai Tucson for 6 weeks so far- really nice car and very comfortable. I quite like the looks and have had people asking me about it. My only criticism really is that the headlights and rear indicators are too low down and so need cleaning more in the winter. The LCD drivers display is great too.

An owner of the old HR-V (named Vezel in Japan though). It’s always more like a sporty hatchback than a SUV to me; don’t know about the newer one though.

I thought the Nissan would win the test. A little surprised!
