Reunited with Moggy for EPIC Burnouts in his Tesla powered Beetle 😮

I was really dealing with Michelin and Protyre at Carfest this year however got an offer I couldn't decline from Moggy. A ride in his 600 horse power Tesla powered VW Beetle. Safe to state we shredded the tires and made a lot of smoke!

    Gutted I missed this. Tried to see if I could sneak in to perform with my mates with rock choir but couldn’t get my car together on the days the gang were going! Would have swung by the tread shed with a beer for you. Maybe next year?

    When I was at carfest there was a lovely mk2 jaaaaggg doing burnouts, so weird seeing a silent beetle burning out!,

    Those NASCAR’s!

    Pete. If you go again, you have to do a walk around. Very nice ’32 Ford custom when you came back in from the Beetle run, the dropped Merc and the Mk1 Lotus Cortina.

    Hello Peter! Well I’m sure you are glad to be home for a rest now! You certainly worked hard and were the life of the Shed. I have never been to Carfest nor the huge Silverstone Festival as the Pop festival/ music element is not for me really…just too noisy and “family fun” orientated but thousands enjoy it. It was interesting to see a review of the LeMan’s Classic as that was huge and nothing like I imagined but had a lot to see that is new. So…I’m still with Goodwood and hope I can get to the Revival….it depends on my leg getting better and it does seem to have made a big move toward that this weekend..it doesn’t hurt now..but new dressings tonight so that may upset it again! Peter…off to do good works I hope…another busy week for you no doubt. Grab a Spyder ride before the rain starts for months! 😱😃😃😃Richard
