    Evening all Peddlers. How are we today? I don’t like smart motorways either. Last week two colleagues and me where stuck along with everyone else on the M1 just south of jct 16 for a police incident and the police could not get through without lanes 2 and 3 moving out the way.

    I hope you and Tracey and pups have a lovely relaxing two week break. Take care see you on the flip side.

    Sorry about the rain Ped. I just got myself a new convertible, so thats my fault. 911 S/T? Another pointless car that none of us will ever get near unless we bought 12 GT cars from Porsche…. The puddle lights are simply cringeable. I’ll stick to my manual 718 Spyder 4.0 for less than half the price thank you!!

      What do they call it in Germany? Channel of life or something. When in a jam everyone knows create a space between the lanes whether they’re coming or not.

    Evening all another great 180 Pete. Be good to have perhaps a dog walk discussion on how safe are EVs of all types using lithium batteries technology. It started with smart phones catching fire, now there are regular reports of electric scooter’s and bikes causing/being responsible for house fires and then it appears an EV was the probable cause of the ship car transporter fire recently in North Sea.

    Pete, thanks for mentioning my “tire problem” which was thankfully solved by PointS in Grasse 👍…tire was available and fitted after two days…nearly the same price like from my tire dealer at home. All in all a perfect result👍😎

    My maiden 180 and I hope to catch more soon. 

    The 911 S/T – what a car with which to offer a sneak preview. While a pretty ‘ desirable motor ‘ I must confess to being a wimp and would rather a more forgiving driving experience. Hence my wishlist normally-aspirated 911 would be a 991.2 GT3 which I would then take to our friends at RPM Technik for the following conversion. 1) Removal of rear wing 2) Addition of rear seats ( cost around £12k ) 3) Swap to comfort seats. Seats must be non-alcantara. Oh and did I say …….. PDK? Yep, that’s my dream GT3 variant – a Touring with rear seats!! If poss I would retrofit a multi-function steering wheel too.

    Hope this hasn’t come as too much of a shock to anyone 😂

    I’m training for the Helvellyn triathlon which is on the 3rd of September so at 18:00 I was on the turbo trainer and mid way through a hard 2 hour session! I’m due to go to Slovenia on the 12th August so will be swimming in a lake as part of my final training block!

    Great vid Pete. Smart motorways !! Just a way of getting another lane without spending our road tax 🤨
    Not sure about other viewers, but it would be great if you did a short vid on the history of the 911 with all its variants and all the other models from porsche and where they fit in the history ( can be confusing) 😅
