Maserati Gracale GT & Trofeo – Perfect 1 Car Garage [FIRST DRIVE] | 4K

There are some great performance compact SUVs on the marketplace however could the new Gracale Trofeo be the ideal 1 vehicle garage? I participated in the UK press drives for the most recent design from and drove the entry level GT and range topping Trofeo back to back.

@Petrol Ped I always love seeing your reaction to the power delivery on some of the cars you’ve driven over the years! The Trofeo is the latest one to blow you away!!

Quite a good looking thing. I’d want one if I was spending someone else’s money.

Thanks for the awesome review 👍 this seems to be a perfect daily / family car. Let’s just imagine for a sec… Your GTS Boxter and a Gracale in your Barn 😁…would fit quite well!
Excited to see a more in-depth review down the line one day😉 maybe even on a road trip

Great Video Pete, The Achilles heel about Maserati has often been it depreciation, but when you get past that point they’re good cars. 👍

Great review Sir Pete!! I definitely like the looks of a Maserati but not price or reliability

Now that’s a car. My favourite car I have owned was a 2.5L Petrol V6 and it sounded so good but was not a patch on that nor had the safety of 4 wheel drive. It looks like you had a lot of fun in that.

24 Trident’s just on the GT’s wheels alone. Cracking car

To my eyes, better looking than the Porsche Macan and most other rivals. The Italians know how to do flair way better than the rest and the name Maserati is so evocative. I hope this car does well, the Levante was never in the running, lets hope this one is.

Great review and a lovely car looks nicer than the Alfa Stelvio and this might be my favourite SUV.

Loved the video, as always!! We’ve just bought a Trofeo model – absolutely fantastic machine. I get where people are coming from with regards to a ford puma, however, I think there’s bits and pieces in every manufacturer that mirror each other. For me???? It’s all about the brand and that nettuno engine …… mamma Mia 🇮🇹 bloody sublime ❤❤❤❤❤

I’ve had my grecale Trofeo for almost 3 months now and I love it. That nettuno engine is quite aggressive

Great vid Pete, You driving the Trofeo had me smiling from ear to ear, lovely looking SUV. Leaving me thinking to upgrade from my Stelvio.

Come on Pete it’s GrEcale, not GrAcale… It’s the name of a wind… Coming from Greece (Grecia in Italian). Cheers from Italy from a Spyder owner (and no, the cabin is of equal length! :-P). Love your videos and podcast, keep up the good work!

To bad the regular press don’t always give Alfas and Maserati the credit they deserve.

Looks really nice Pete, dare I say it.. my 1st thought on seeing it was Porsche Macan.

I would imagine Maserati have pushed the boat out in performance terms to ensure nothing similar is on par ……. but

Circa 100k, I would be worried about two things if I took one over a Macan…..

    1) reliability
    2) depreciation.

It will be a rarer sight than a Macan though & the interior looks really nice …..

Try for a full Trofeo review 👍🏻

Bought a Modena Prima Series, so with all the kit thrown in, in April. Couldn’t afford the Trofeo or the running costs! Interior sold it for me. Agree about the gear selector buttons and indicators. Fast enough for me. Goes well and ride on 21 inch wheels seems good. Come down a size and it is noticeable in handling, but loosing nothing on interior space.
Seems to be some software glitches, and hopefully mine will get sorted soon. So far enjoying and a rare sight!
