FIRST GLANCE – Jeep Avenger – All Jeep and All Electric ! | 4K

The is the first all electric Jeep. Jeep DNA runs deep through this and trucks style, from the 7 element grill to the off-road capabilities. The is powered by a 156hp 260Nm electrical motor on the front axel. It has a 54kWh battery with a WLTP variety of 250 miles with as much as 340 miles in urban driving. I can support DC charging up to 100kw with 20-80% charge taking just 24 minutes.

It’s not a bad looking car, but I’m unsure that the range will be as much as what they are stating.

When I first saw the pictures of this Avenger, I thought it look great especially in this yellow/gold colour. Let’s all hope it drives as well as it looks considering it’s a Vauxhall Mokka underneath.

It’s amazing that the Abarth 500e is £2K more than this.

Definitely a cool color! Very nice of Jeep to try a electric Jeep. The avenger name use to be a dodge car. Kinda neat to see the name used again

It all about the range ! Which is the most important about a EV car .

One thing that’s been bugging me for a while is the storing of the cables in the false floor. Yes it’s useful but only if the boot isn’t full which for longer journeys it might well be. I’m hoping an EV manufacturer will work out how to include cable storage that doesn’t eat into front or rear storage space.

For an Electric smaller SUV Jeep has done a fantastic job of keeping the car looking sleek, modern, and like a petrol car, not going like some manufacturers down the road of “oh look it`s Electric filled in wheels, odd shapes, etc ” instead of nice alloy design etc great car well-done Jeep .thanks Pete.

I’m afraid for me it’s a jeep in name only. I’m sure it’s a very good car in its own right. Seems to fit nowadays, though, as it was born an EV but identifies as a 4×4!🤔

2WD. No way. When they bring out a 4WD model, let me know.

Stellantis are smashing it…!! Jeep, Fiat Abarth, Peugeot, Citroën, Vauxhall all have individual small family cars in the £32k yo £38k range… All of their cars look way more interesting than the lacklustre VW range!

Pity we aren’t making more Stellantis models in the Uk. We really need to get our act together and get some Giga Factories built. We have been talking about them for years, and this week our first major one planned for the NE he collapsed through lack of investment! This looks to be a lovely car , but is more an urban cruiser than an off road vehicle. Should sell well with the brand! 😎🇺🇸👍

Those small attention to details are really nice. I do have one question….. Does it have a noise box on the back as well..??? 😄

    Hi Ped
Second quality video this evening. Well done.👏 Jeep have retained the heritage if the brand thank heavens, with some new touches for the EV age. However as you may have gathered, despite the progress of manufacturers in addressing the forced age of EV’s, the politicians who have imposed this upon us have not succeeded in addressing the infrastructure & energy crisis which we now face.😥 whilst I will watch with interest future developments, I am not in the market.

The front corner looks like a new defender, and rear pillar looks like a discovery!
But I do like it, just hope it’s more reliable than the Landrovers.
Being front wheel drive, I wonder if better regeneration ability will add to its range (the front wheels come under more load under braking). 2wd EVs are often criticised for being front wheel drive, but it makes for better regen.
The big winner for me is the underbody and bumper clearance, similar to my yeti. I drive a lot of rural roads and negotiate uneven gravel ‘car parks’, which I see regularly damage lower vehicles.
