Ferrari Purosangue – Ultimate Performance SUV…or is it ?!

The is perhaps there most misinterpreted and truck. A performance 4 door 4 seat car and a naturally aspirated V12. The huge concerns is ought to it wear the badge of the bounding horse at all. Simply how excellent can it be. Well I took it on a trip to find out!

Got to drive the Purosangue and the 296 Assetto Fiorano last week in Maranello. Impressive cars both. The Purosangue is a freight train with it’s massive V12, but the Dodici Cilindri was even more impressive, even just lokking at it. Even the Roma Spider was really, really tempting❤

1/2 a milllion quid and still lots of ultra shiny black plastic, does no one at Ferrari have any sense of style or taste? These plastic components look so cheap! Good review Pete ! The ceiling in your garage is outrageously cool! Forgot to say, excellent review and I hope you enjoyed your day!

Sooo- nearly 2 houses then (average house price UK £282K) – not what I would call a bargain then. Nice car, but honestly Ped.

500K….You could get a GT3 Touring and a Cayenne Turbo…and chuck in a GT4 RS and you’d still get some change for a Yaris GR….£500K is bonkers. Great review Ped….

Half a million quid, 10 mpg, £9,500 for the two painted badges etc, well Lewis’ £55m salary has to come from somewhere I guess.

@@don911donny9 like the other guy said they’ve already made that 55 million just on the hype and marketing of lewis joining.

Nice to see that you made it to Cheddar Gorge, not too far from me. I remember driving my Mums Talbot Horizon there just after I passed my test in 1989. That truly was an awful car 😂

This is the best review of this car I have ever seen. You’ve managed to understand and communicate the purpose and thinking behind it in a remarkable way. You’ve not sold it to me – I still dislike it and bemoan the loss of the FF and GTC- but now I’m glad it exists for other people to enjoy.

A cracking review Ped. Taking yourself off for the day on unfamiliar roads let you really experience the car for what it is – and the video was much richer for it.

I can’t decide whether us mere mortals should be picky about interior controls on a half-a-million car, or whether it would genuinely frustrate you as an owner. Probably the latter, which is why I think you’re right to point out the shortcoming.

Enjoyed this very much. Calm, logical, factual, etc and talking about the car being what it is.
